Best car buying experience I have ever had I recently bought a BMW M2 at BMW of Birmingham. As this was a new BMW model and was highly sought after, it took almost 4 months from the time of the I recently bought a BMW M2 at BMW of Birmingham. As this was a new BMW model and was highly sought after, it took almost 4 months from the time of the order until delivery date. During this time, I worked with Jason O'Quinn who answered countless questions before I decided to place the order, while I waited for the car to be built, and after the delivery. The whole process was very professional, emails were answered and calls returned, which was, to be honest, welcomingly surprising. The delivery day, after a 4 month wait, was pretty exciting. Jason seems as excited as I was. Car features were explained, questions answered. Jason was very professional, even got me a couple of nice things from their store. He earned my respect, being a car salesman. I mean a BMW Genius. :) John Scanlan found the right financing for me and also answered many questions in that front. Thanks for your patience, John. Financing was done by Britney Shannon, who was very pleasant and patient also. For the first time in a dealership finance office I was shown their different products, but did not feel pressured to buy anything. About three weeks later, I got a call from Michael Matkosky who arranged for an Encore Delivery which is an excellent hour of training with a BMW Genius. I took it with Ashley Tucker. Got great tips about iDrive I would have never gotten from the manual. To me, it was worth the time and the drive, as I live an hour away from Birmingham. I was properly bribed to come in with a generous offer of some BMW products and a full tank of gas. Thanks Michael. Finally, on the same Saturday I had the encore delivery, they performed the 1200 mile break in service. I talked to Anna McMurry, who was very nice and polite and answered some questions I had about it. I went to lunch and after a couple of hours I got both a text and a call saying the car was ready. I talked to other people during my two visits to the dealership, such as Sam, who filled up our tank on our way out, and the parts store guy, whose name I don't have. Thank you. You may be thinking this review sounds too perfect to be true. How do you know all these people's names? Simple. I keep my receipts, emails and cards. This is for real, not a made up review. I too think this is too perfect. Well, the title should have hinted it. I have bought a couple of other BMWs in different dealer in this region and I can tell you, it was not like this. I am still trying to find problems with this process, being an engineer, but I can't. If I had to complain about anything, it would be how long it took to get this awesome little car, but that is on BMW. Considering what I got for the money I paid, I would wait 6 months for it. Jason Eldridge is the salesman I worked with and because I have known him for several years, I trust his advice. He called me when it came in and I test drove it. I really liked it, so we started crunching numbers. In the end I did lease it. I talked with several of the staff and was treated like I mattered. Ashley Tucker helped me several times in learning how to operate the navigation system and some other technical matters. Then after about 10 days of driving it, Ashley did my Encore presentation, where she answered all my questions. I visited the parts department, the service department, where they washed my car and cleaned my windows thoroughly, and have talked to Jason and Ashley several times since the purchase. I am very pleased with the purchase and the way I am treated when at BMW of Birmingham, even after the sale. More

Mixed review of our Client Advisor (Jason Ethridge) & dealer Due to my auto being totaled in an accident ruled NOT my fault, we had to start looking for another vehicle. My husband & I arranged to drive in from Montgomery & test drive one car in particular. That went pretty well...however in thinking back, they had to jump off the BMW we were set up to drive as the battery was dead. We still thought...that can happen to anyone. We did purchese the car that day with Jason's promise to order BMW inserts for the rims as well as floor mats since those were missing. Well, the BMW rim inserts were the wrong size, therefore I as well as my husband telephoned him, leaving several messages letting him know what he had sent to us were too big & will NOT work & to plz contact us. We were just letting him know there had been a mistake in size on the inserts but to please please at least contact us. That has been over a 6 week period. Not only that but now, after having it 6 weeks, we know now it needs a new battery which will be appr $400.00. I have been in sales and marketing all my adult life and would never ignore a customer ....period...whether they were new or existing customers. If your customers are happy with the professional way they are treated and the sales person keeps his word, that repeat business is a given, which was my case. I bought an Infinity G35 from Tom Williams in 2007 & was totally satisfied with my customer service which is exactly why I trusted Tom Williams in purchasing my BMW. I'm not overly critical of sales people, but ignoring calls, messages left but not returned is not good for the sales person nor Tom Williams and certainly not good for repeat business! Btw...we still don't have correct size BMW insets for rims... they sent ones for the 700 series so they don't fit...we need ones for 328I More
