I had wanted another vehicle made by someone else but didn't feel comfortable with the differentials between what I heard that BMW and Steve Thomas offered compared to the lack thereof of what everyone else offered in regard to service warranties. We have now purchased our fifth car from a guy named Ryan Amico. Now married with little ones, Ryan remains a down to earth, patient guy who always answers our meticulously scrutinizing questions and makes it clear to drop by and re-fill his ears with whatever we need to. The craziest part is, that Travis, (the guy who helps you with parts repair), in the service department, is just as cool and absolutely on it! He is definitely eating his Wheaties. Travis has a vehicle for me when I get serviced etc... and he has even conferred with dealers to help make sure I'm getting a fair shake when I'm out of town. Recently, there's been a ton of talk about the lack of customer service in all areas, some say it may not even exist anymore, I 'd have to say I can't 100% disagree, but that being said, in light of hope, I'm leaving this note to share there is still someone who cares at Steve Thomas BMW:) More

He helped me get a fair deal on the car without having to go through hours of negotiations. In little over 2 hours, I had made a deal, completed the financing and drove off in the new car. The dealership is not as fancy as some others- no fancy coffees and snacks, but it was the smoothest and quickest car purchase I have ever made. For the past two days, I had had bad experiences visiting a few BMW dealerships, looking for a Certified Pre-owned 528i with GPS. I finally found dealerrater.com, and decided to try something new, find a highly rated dealer, and start there for a change. Boy am I glad I did. There is a reason why Thomas BMW is so highly rated, and I experienced it firsthand tonight. Ryan Bosman was very nice, courteous, and looked to making me feel comfortable first and foremost. No sleazy sales pressure tactics, or tricks, just pure honesty and relaxed demeanor, which put me at ease, and made the whole experience a wonderful one. Jim Martinez, a veteran of Thomas BMW of 32 years, also took time answering all my financial-related questions and helping sign the papers. I had to drive 53 miles under the rain to get to Thomas BMW from where live, so i had a few questions to be answered about the car I was interested in before I made the trek, and Ryan's manager Eric was also a huge help, calling me back, and walking in the rain to look at the car and answer my questions about it (since Ryan was busy with a client at the time and I was pressed for time). I truly appreciated how they help each other, and me. The price they had listed for the Certified Pre-owned 528i I was interested in was no BS, very low and competitive right out of the gate. They don't need to overprice the car, and have you haggle at the dealership. Another reason I love this place. This is what a buying experience should be like. Bottom line: Chris and Ryan gave great, no BS, information not only on all of the purchasing options, but the operational and mechanical aspects of BMWs. I have yet to find a salesman with their knowledge base (and willing to spend time sharing it), and I've been buying cars for over 40 years. Now about the price. What got me to Chris in the first place was his price (via the internet). It was significantly lower than the few others I received. Most other internet BMW contacts want you to come in to get a price. The first time I came in to Thomas BMW to follow up on the great price, I was expecting to get a lot of pressure to add options and dealer added BS stuff (e.g., paint protectant). Didn't happen. To the end, they were looking for ways for me to save money. Would I buy from them again? Well I've done it twice, and as soon as the 2011 X3 is available, I'll be back to see them. Warning, if you like to talk cars, be prepared to spend some time. More

Ryan was very professional in his demeanor and his product knowledge is unparalleled. I had visited a few other BMW dealers throughout the greater LA area and he by far is the most knowledgeable and helpful sales professional that I encountered. Ryan took a great deal of time with me and never made me feel rushed or pressured throughout the sales process. I test drove 3 different cars and he never made me feel rushed or pressured to purchase. He thoroughly explained all of the features and specifications about each model that I drove and he also gave me his honest opinion about each model. I truly appreciated his honesty and I feel that he had my best interest in mind. I liked that Ryan could show me both new and pre-owned models without referring me to another sales person, something that all of the other dealerships did, and that he was knowledgeable about all of BMW’s financing options and this gave me the ability to be more flexible in my purchasing decision. During the price negotiation Ryan was very fair and I was able to negotiate the best price that I had seen at any other dealer locally, or even on the internet for that matter. During the delivery Ryan took the time, even though it was getting late and the dealership was already closed to completely explain everything that I needed to know about all of the features and functions of my 2011 128i. Mr. Amico made me feel as if I was his most important customer and I will defiantly return to him when I purchase another vehicle, it is worth the drive.
