Excellent customer response & service during Covid lockdown I wanted a particular model of an X3 which could not be located in northeastern USA. The customer representative then mentioned that another model had I wanted a particular model of an X3 which could not be located in northeastern USA. The customer representative then mentioned that another model had been ordered for the dealership and was in line to be built. He inquired if it still could be changed to our specs, which was confirmed mid-May of this year, just two weeks after the factory reopened in South Carolina at half capacity. I expected a mid-July delivery at best, but was elated when the car arrived at the dealership on June 22, some 5 weeks after we had ordered it! We took ownership later that week. The process was smooth, the staff efficiently executed the paperwork and gave us comprehensive instructions on many of the features of this beautiful vehicle. I parted by saying it will take some time to comprehend all the features, to which an employee retorted:" Yes. it's a computer on wheels." It was a wonderful experience. Our sincere thanks to all employees who contributed to our experience at BMW of Cape Cod. PS The car was prepared well for delivery, which I attribute to the Service Department.
