This included $5,100 in a timing chain r A 'drive train malfunction" light brought me to BMW service. I was given an estimate of $10,500 in repairs. This included $5,100 in a timing chain repair. The extended warranty I purchased does not cover the Turbocharge but would cover the timing chain. The warranty would only cover the timing chain if it actually broke, not because it was showing signs of failure. In speaking with a reputable independent repair shop, I was quoted $3,700 for the TurboCharger, $1,100 less than BMW. The Oil Housing Seal Replacement was quoted at $600 by BMW versus $130 from the independent mechanic. As far as the timing chain is concerned, the independent mechanic felt that the only way to know that a timing chain was failing was to take down the engine to actually see what was going on. The BMW service diagnosed this $5,100 repair by sound. I asked to have a sales rep contact me as this is my third BMW and I consider myself to be a loyal BMW enthusiast. The sales rep advised that they would only give me $1000 in trade for my vehicle. I was outraged. He said that they knew too much about my car. He actually intimated that I would be better off going somewhere else. I thought...Audi? Mercedes? Really? I left the BMW service incredibly disappointed in BMW, doubting if I will ever purchase another. So, in closing, thank you for nothing. I'm a high distance driver and have put nearly 1/2 million miles on the various BMW's, (328i, 550i, X3). Sign me, Shopping elsewhere. More
Did not disclose windshield issue I recently bought a 2014 BMW 650ix 36,000 miles I am in California, so I had to go by the pictures and the verbal representations made by the sales I recently bought a 2014 BMW 650ix 36,000 miles I am in California, so I had to go by the pictures and the verbal representations made by the sales agent, Tim Muldoon. Tim was very polite and responsive through the purchase process. However, the car arrived coated in mud, sand and salt, which I immediately brought to Tim's attention. It took me a couple weeks before I noticed that the windshield had thousands of tiny pockmarks. When the sun is at the right angle they light up and make it very distracting and dangerous to drive. When I brought this to Tim's attention, I had originally thought it may have been damaged in transit. The windshield looks like it has been sandblasted and it was covered in sand when it arrived. I have since been told that it is not likely that the damage was not caused during the transport. That it was most likely defective when they loaded the car on the trailer. In either case, damage before or after transport, BMW of Cape Cod let me down. When I asked if BoCC would split the cost to have the windshield replaced, $450, they did not return my email. Yes, I bought it sight-unseen. Yes, buyer beware, but Tim was so convincing that it was in excellent shape and I have bought other used cars from BMW and Mercedes dealerships and they have always been pristine. Bottom line, I would not recommend buying a used car from this dealership without physically expecting the car and/or having a 3rd party mechanic check it out. Lesson learned the hard way. More

less than helpful for a lease return I have purchased several cars from you through out the years. Returning a lease I was note helped and the guys there just criticized my insurance comp I have purchased several cars from you through out the years. Recall on a part in the air bag system I was glad that the service department was open and able to get me scheduled rather quickly despite the fact we are in the 'shelter in place' for CO I was glad that the service department was open and able to get me scheduled rather quickly despite the fact we are in the 'shelter in place' for COVID19. That being said, I was the only customer in the dealership at the time, It was a pleasant experience but would have been nicer to see the dealership open and fully operational. More
