I have been taking my BMW to this dealership for years. They offer good customer service and the facility it nice. My only complaint is the pricing for service. I was very well taken care of. Andrew got my info, and a diagnostic determined the problem. They provided a ride for me home, and I was easily notified when it was ready. Normally I would rank BMW of Dallas as 5 star, but I am very disappointed with my service call. I brought my Car in for inspection and to fix the lever that allows you to get in the back seat. This is the 3rd time I have brought my car for this issue. On first vist told the part had to be ordered from Germany. When the part arrived 2 months later, it was not installed correctly. Now the part has to be ordered a 2nd time from Germany. My biggest issue is that I dropped my car off on Friday and I called beginning at 8 AM on Saturday because I had a busy day. No one answered the phone; when I finally got the appointment team I was told that my Service Advisor was off and I needed to talk to Andrew. Per his VM I sent Andrew a text, and I never heard from him. I finally heard from Damien around 12:30pm but I was in the midddle of multiple appointments. I check the BMW website and it stated dealership closed at 6 pm. I arrived aat 5:04 pm and service department was closed. Needless to say I was extremly upset. I called the Service Manager and left a VM no response. I returned on Monday and picked up car, Andrew handed me keys since car was parked on the side of the building. I own both a Lexus and BMW and my latest experience has not made want to continue as BMW owner nor am I recommending this dealership service department primarily because they were not responsive. - The initial estimate had errors that I caught and had to be revised. - When my car was supposed to be ready, it took me over 90 minutes to get someone from service on the phone and only then I was told to be revised. - When my car was supposed to be ready, it took me over 90 minutes to get someone from service on the phone and only then I was told it would be 4 more days. - When the car was ready, the invoice was for almost $1,000 more than the estimate. When I texted the service manager, I just received a text back with a link to another invoice that was $700 less. No explanation or apology. Still not sure what the additional $300 was for. At this point I was so beaten down by the entire experience that I just surrendered. - There is no way that I will ever buy another vehicle from BMW of Dallas or have my car serviced there. More
Very disappointed, I’ve had my car serviced with the this dealer since the day I purchased. Only to find out the Ben have found their job. I took my car in due to some electrical issues (12v outlet not working, passenger heated seat not working). He also put that car was pulling to one side to get an alignment (free) due to car being rece outlet not working, passenger heated seat not working). I was directed inside to meet with my advisor, Dameon, who didn’t look up right away to greet me. He apologized and said he was looking at Cyber Monday deals. He got my info entered and ordered me a Lyft to get to work. He put a “ready time” of 4:00pm that day. I texted him mid-day asking for a status update and to see if the ready time could be earlier. He replied 2 hours later without a status update saying the time probably couldn’t be any earlier. I arrived at 4:00pm to get my car and was told the car was updating and was showing it would take an hour to do so. Finally, about 10-15 minutes after 5, I was able to leave. Dameon didn’t provide the customer service I was expecting to receive. He never reached out to me to inform me of what was going on with my service. He didn’t let me know my car was running behind. Taking 8.5 hours to resolve a few electrical issues seems like a lot already but the lack of communication really was disappointing. I will be using a different next time. More
