Book in easy and job largely complete 30000 mile service. I also had a flat run flat tyre and was told it couldn’t be plugged and needed to be replaced at a cost of $600+ .After the service I drove to disco I also had a flat run flat tyre and was told it couldn’t be plugged and needed to be replaced at a cost of $600+ .After the service I drove to discount tyre who plugged it said it had plenty of tread at no cost. I’m very disappointed with that aspect of BMW service. More
Darick, our service manager, was very communicative in terms of consistently updating us on the status and specific details surrounding the repair. Usually a decent service experience, but the last visit was terrible. My visit was scheduled, but I had to wait 20+ minutes just to speak to the service advisor. Spoke to the service advisor for less than was terrible. My visit was scheduled, but I had to wait 20+ minutes just to speak to the service advisor. Spoke to the service advisor for less than 5 minutes. Then sat waiting for my loaner car (also scheduled beforehand) for 20 minutes before finding the service advisor and asking him about the delay. He said I was next in line and the gentleman handling my rental showed up within 5 minutes after that. In total, spend about an hour just dropping my car off for service (breaks and a HID bulb change). The service then took all weekend (I dropped the car off on Friday). Not sure what is causing all of these delays. Things were not like this in the past. More
Took my car in to be serviced for routine oil change. After scheduling prior for the oil change, they informed me I could wait. Once I arrived, he told me (service manager) it would be a while. Asked if I would like to go shopping instead of waiting. I thought that would be better. I thought I would be getting a loan car. Figured wrong! He asked I go wait out front. Next thing I knew, a receive a text message on my phone from a Lyft driver and he immediately pulls up! I was shocked! He drove me to a nearby mall where I waited for a call from the dealership. After a while, I phoned a nearby relative, had them pick me up. The service manager contacted me approximately 4 hours later to tell me I had a tear in a tire and he was trying to locate a tire. I was a little puzzled due to the fact that I had no warnings on my tire sensors driving in or at any time prior. At this time, I was already looking at 5:00 pm. I told him I would have to pick up the car the next day. My husband contacted him and we were to pick up the car. He told my husband that both tires were replaced and he suggested an alignment as well. Ok so now we have another tire that needed a replacement? And of course he did notice we had the tire protection plan as well. Again; I had no warning whatsoever indicating that something was wrong with any of my tires. When we arrived to pick up my car, we were charged for the deductible on 2 tires plus an alignment. Whenever we have picked up a car from the dealership it has always been cleaned. Not the case at BMW. Needless to say, we are very unsatisfied and we will not be recommending you. More
