I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at BMW of Fremont regarding a serious issue with rear tire wear after their alignment service. Last year, I had my Pirelli PZ4 * tires (BMW-approved) BMW of Fremont regarding a serious issue with rear tire wear after their alignment service. Last year, I had my Pirelli PZ4 * tires (BMW-approved) installed at American Tire and immediately brought the vehicle to BMW of Fremont for an official factory 4-wheel alignment. Less than 7,000 miles later, both rear tires—especially the right rear—showed severe outer shoulder wear. All tire pressure and maintenance were within spec. When I returned to the dealership with evidence including their own alignment report, tire photos, and proof of abnormal wear, the service advisor acknowledged the issue but refused any goodwill support after speaking with management. I was told "this tire is expected to last only 8,000 miles," which is factually untrue and dismissive of the clear alignment setup issue. Rather than taking responsibility or offering any assistance, they deflected blame and pushed me to pay full price again for new tires and alignment. The lack of accountability and the way the case was handled made it clear this dealership is not customer-focused when issues arise—even when those issues may have originated from their own service department. I would advise anyone considering alignment or tire service at BMW of Fremont to be extremely cautious, request documentation, and verify alignment settings independently. I scheduled for routine 40K service and said I’d wait for speedy services. I arrived at 8 and was told they’ll try to have it done by 12 or 12:30, so I went home. Around 12:30 they said it will be ready at speedy services. I arrived at 8 and was told they’ll try to have it done by 12 or 12:30, so I went home. Around 12:30 they said it will be ready at 2 or 2:30. About 2:30, they said sorry it won’t be done until 4 or 4:30. At 4:20 they said it’s ready. Got back about 4:50, paperwork wasn’t ready, I was loosing patience. I think I got out with my car at 5:10. All that and my car had no discrepancies.! That’s the only good part of this. More
I've been going to this dealership for service for a while. I took my 2007 335i, 2014 428i and now 2015 M3 here. I always have great experiences with them. I am new to the Fremont area so this dealership is new for me but when I contrast it to my prior Seattle dealership , I can say Fremont falls way behind . For my oil change I scheduled online through the for me but when I contrast it to my prior Seattle dealership , I can say Fremont falls way behind . For my oil change I scheduled online through the app a 5pm slot and ended up 10 min late . I had to wait another 10 min for my assigned tech to show up and he told me that they don't take any appointment after 3.40pm and blamed the app for being erroneous . Long story short I had to reschedule and come back the next day . My Seattle dealership paid for a pickup and dropoff if within 10 mile radius while Fremont only will do one time and capped at $25. 2nd time around the tech was attentive and did take care of oil change and did a nice job of walk through , inspection , following through with the few concerns I had on the car to earn the 3 star . Bmw Oil change are expensive so for a luxury service the experience left me a little underwhelmed . More

I took the car in for service based on messages the car had. 1 message was :service brake pads". When the tech examined the car and provided a video of his inspection, he commented "the brake pads look lik had. 1 message was :service brake pads". When the tech examined the car and provided a video of his inspection, he commented "the brake pads look like new, so we dod not need to perform this service"/ This saved me several hundred dollars. The Dealer is still investigating why I had a message for this service. I appreciate their transparency when performing servie. Anthony, the service writer, removed the service from my bill and did a great job! More
