As an owner of an auto repair facility for 35 years how these people are still in business is beyond me. I brought a vehicle in for "BMW diagnosis" after rebuilding the tranmission and having a shifting er these people are still in business is beyond me. I brought a vehicle in for "BMW diagnosis" after rebuilding the tranmission and having a shifting error code. They had the car for about 40 minutes and called us to say that the trans had to be replaced and would I like to purchase one from them, I declined and went to pick to up the car only to be presented with a $260 diagnostic fee ( which being in the business I know is absolute thievery) but they insisted so I had to pay it to get the customer's vehicle back. After 2 phone calls to other BMW techs elsewhere I found out that the issue was a external switch which they had in stock! I confronted them about their MIS-DIAGNOSIS and they couldn't care less. I hope that BMW corporate reads this...The former owner of this BMW dealership location went to prison for bank fruad I believe...... you would think that BMW would really scrutinize any new franchisee, I guess not. It's sad that people in this area have no one they can trust their BMW's to. Because of this I refuse to personally buy any more Bimmers ( I've owned 7) but no more. More

I went before buying a '01 330 from a chevy dealership just to see what they had. It was 7pm on a friday, so props to them for even talking to me when it was quittin time. I soon found out though that i just to see what they had. It was 7pm on a friday, so props to them for even talking to me when it was quittin time. I soon found out though that it was because they wanted to sell me on a NEW car. What the hell is wrong with people??? If I wanted a new car, I would have gone to them in the first place. The guy didn't seem to know as much about BMW's as I did. I will have to have my warrantee work done there anyway which makes me shudder. It's almost worth the drive to white plains. More
This dealership has the most air-headed people I have ever dealt with. The knowledge they have is comparable to a first grader in class after Christmas break . Not one person there has an answering machi ever dealt with. The knowledge they have is comparable to a first grader in class after Christmas break . Not one person there has an answering machine, so they are "busy" every time someone calls. The service department mis-books appointments and should have a translator on hand to explain what words those letters make up in the instruction manuel. These people want nothing to do with you after you purchase a car from them and CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. Do yorself a favor and stick with the factory dealers, like the one in NYC. This means a bit more deposit and money, but WELL worth it. Hey Bmw of the "HUDSON Valley up in the middle of no where," still, I have to say that you guys are the best bunch of high school dropouts out their making a living. Thank You More
The last service visit I had to Hudson Valley BMW showed a tremendous improvement over previous times. If I were to rate previous visits I'd have to rate them very poor. The mechanics they had working there a tremendous improvement over previous times. If I were to rate previous visits I'd have to rate them very poor. The mechanics they had working there and the condition they returned my car was not up to Kia standards. I've had 3 *very* bad experiences with their service department and only 1 good one.

The place has been completely remodeled and new mechanics hired. Hopefully all my service visits will be as good as my last one. But with 75% of service visits ranking very poorly, I cannot rank them higher than a 2 right now.

Oddly enough, the service department has very nice, friendly, people working there. It's a shame the mechanics, at least in the past, were not fit to work at Pit Stop. More
Sales department is not knowledgeable and not great to deal with overall. They are great at avoiding eye contact and looking busy.
Service department has messed up more than a few simple repairs. Such deal with overall. They are great at avoiding eye contact and looking busy.
Service department has messed up more than a few simple repairs. Such as replacing dead window regulators. I had to turn right back around when the "fixed" window broke again due to being put back together badly. Also they are not really sure how much only to put in your car after oil service -- missing about a quart once. Overall, its a dealership trying to make the most out of good location but just not BMW caliber. More
