DECEMBER 25 EDIT - revising rating to 3 stars as the Service Manager contacted me and made efforts to remedy my situation. Credit where credit is due, and I am left with a better feeling about BMW Humbo Service Manager contacted me and made efforts to remedy my situation. Credit where credit is due, and I am left with a better feeling about BMW Humboldt Bay. Initial review -In for oil change on a very low mileage (for year) car. Sat down and was subjected to high pressure sales - for service!! We were handed a leaflet w various high dollar options for service, mainly oil change plus lots of cleaners and additives. We explained clearly that we only wanted oil change. They attempted to sell us on different 'cleanings & treatments' - explained again that this car is babied, gets non-ethanol fuel only and we do not want any of the extras. The oil change was $245! That is 117% over other dealers we have used in the past. Why?? We should have walked out when they gave us the price. That's on us for staying. Once complete, the receipt indicates a charge for 'Advanced Formula MOA' an engine additive that WE SPECIFICALLY told them we did not want. More
