Understood some had good experiences. Mine was not. Unfortunately said yes to a few this time. Other brands/dealers get you in/out in far less time, and they accept a "no" for service contracts. - Service department very bad. Received my car back from annual service with SOS warning light on. Service representative (Wayne Hong) extremely defensive and unhelpful, trying to blame the issue on me rather than showing accountability. - Check at home - technician had forgotten to re-connect the loudspeaker for SOS call system after replacing the cabin air filter. Either lazy or overworked, or both. - Cancelling the prepaid service agreement through Autonation a protracted (8 weeks) and unfriendly process. Partial refund they gave was a loss on me. My bad for signing in the first place. All in all, not sure if this is Autonation or BMW Mt View specifically, will definitely never go there again. More
I travel to BMW of Mountain View for the customer service. Every time they have done an excellent job getting my car in and out quickly, washed nicely. They listen and follow up on issues, communicating well with customers and the team there so everyone knows what is needed to make the experience a positive, pleasant one. The waiting area is clean, spacious with a nice view out the windows as you wait, quiet so you can work and concessions like snacks, coffee, tea. Thank you BMW Mountain View for doing things right! He took the time to clearly explain all the work that would be performed on my car and offered thoughtful suggestions, including a great tip on how to save money by pre-paying for oil changes based on how long I plan to keep the vehicle. I also want to give a shoutout to Andrew from the loaner car department. He was fantastic—very helpful and took the time to walk me through how everything worked in the loaner car. Overall, the level of customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. Thank you for making the process so smooth and pleasant! More
