DO NOT SHOP HERE! DOUBLE CHECK THE BANK YOU FINANCE WITH BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I bought a car on 9/11/26. Found the car online, went to trade mine in and told them I ha DOUBLE CHECK THE BANK YOU FINANCE WITH BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I bought a car on 9/11/26. Found the car online, went to trade mine in and told them I had a Capitol One Pre-Approval. I told them I would be open to getting a better rate if they could find one. The sales rep told me my CAP ONE rate was the best and they could not get a better one. We finalize the deal and I leave. Fast forward to today 9/17 and I get a email from Santamander Bank saying that my loan is with them. I call the salesman and he says that I gave them permission to get a better rate (which is true) and that they ended up doing the deal with THIER preferred bank Santamander. He says that it was for the same rate. We did not agree to that. They simply messaged me saying that they are sorry if they gave me the impression that the deal was definetly going to be through CAP ONE. I brough up my CAP ONE approval 100x. They did not even mention that Santamander Bank. Just dont shop here. Please. More
