I took my newly purchased 2020 BMW X1 to this dealer because of a random intermittent vibration I felt in the steering wheel. The Dealer stated the problem was: a loose engine mount and an unsecured because of a random intermittent vibration I felt in the steering wheel. The Dealer stated the problem was: a loose engine mount and an unsecured AC line. Cost to repair: $1100. Day before I picked up the car, the service advisor reached out and said I needed to have the tires balanced as “they still felt some vibration”. The cost: $99. I balked at this because he’d already assured me the proposed repairs were the problem and would solve the problem. The service advisor comped the tire balance, “for the confusion”. More than a week later, I picked the car up and the exact same vibration occurred when driving it home. This is when I discovered the actual problem with the car wasn’t a problem at all, it was the LANE DEPARTURE WARNING feature, which vibrates in the steering wheel in short subtle bursts. I had no idea this was on my car or anyone’s car! After repeated calls to the dealer’s service manager, BMW of NWA defended the entire debacle and admitted no wrong doing. They did extend a military discount in an attempt to placate me, but it should have been applied anyway. At the least, the dealership should have refunded me the $179.00 diagnostic charge on principle alone. Ultimately the repair notes stated the mechanic “could not reproduce the vibration customer described”. Is this dealer trustworthy? I don’t have any way to verify the problems they say they found and fixed were actually done. Likewise, if these issues were ‘real’, ultimately, you could say it was a good thing they found them and they are now repaired. On the other hand, I can say with absolute certainty, the ‘problem’ I brought my car to them for in the first place had NOTHING to do with what they found as the cause of the vibration and were paid to repair. So, are they trustworthy? My advice, if you’re going to use them is to hold them to the same standard of proof which the major Car Warranty companies do when one of their customer’s cars are in for major repairs. These companies regularly require pictures and sometimes send adjusters to inspect jobs before repairs are authorized. It’s my opinion this business probably doesn’t set out to cheat people, but if a problem arises, I doubt their first allegiance is to their customer. More

Well to start with we ordered a vehicle this past February through them and the sale agent mislead us on some of the packages we could order with our vehicle and we ended up missing out on a few item February through them and the sale agent mislead us on some of the packages we could order with our vehicle and we ended up missing out on a few items we wanted on our car. The communication through the build process was non-existent. Once the vehicle showed up we discovered some technology glitches with the idrive system and brought it to the attention of the service department only for them to make us feel like we were the dumbest people on earth, but come to find out they their regional rep, it was a known issue with the idrive system on the X5 and BMW in Germany has been working on fixing it for months with an idrive update And lastly the biggest one of all, they delayed giving us our registration paperwork for our new vehicle so we could get it registered and plated. The delay took so long we incurred a late penalty from the state of Arkansas in excess of $500 in which we communicated with the dealership’s finance department as well as the sales agent, that we would like reimbursement for the money we were penalized. As it was the dealers fault that we didn’t get our paperwork in the time frame of 30 days that the state mandates. The dealership and finance department basically gave us the run around and in the end blew us off and won’t return our calls in regards to getting reimbursed for the money we are owed regarding this penalty. We bought a $76000 X5 from them and it was our first big luxury purchase ever and we were treated like trash through the whole experience as well as being out an addition $500 from the state penalty fee we incurred because of the dealership and they would take no responsibility at all for this fee. I would not recommend this dealership at all when buying a BMW based on the experience we had. More

However, Woody's and the folks there impressed my wife and I so much we want to express our gratitude by writing this review. Recently my wife and I purchased a car at Woody's Automotive in Chillicothe, Mo. I found a car on the internet, among many and went to this dealership first, sight unseen. To be honest, we were extremely hesitant due to past experiences. I must say this was our best experience ever in purchasing a car. No, it was not like going to the dentist :-). Scott (salesman) and Mitchell Cooper (sales-manager) were an absolute pleasure to deal with. In our dealings these men were without a doubt 'above reproach'. They handled my wife and I with integrity, courteousness, and most importantly honesty. Having managed sales dept.'s both here and abroad, I can say unequivocally these are top tier sales people, who are interested in getting the deal that fits you; and let me tell you there was no nonsense, no manipulation, and absolutely no hassle in working with these folks. As far as the deal, obviously I got a great deal and am greatly pleased. Further, I was pre-qualified for financing before going to the dealership and Woody's found me a better deal. Naturally, I would give them the highest recommendation. My wife and I want to sincerely thank you gentlemen and all we dealt with at Woody's. You have our business for life. More
Happy Buyer! We got a good deal on our new vehicle and they matched the trade-in value that another dealership offered. We had an overall great experience. I reluctantly decided to have the recalls on my BMW fixed. I say reluctantly because my car was running fantastic before I brought it here. During the recall visit...everyone was super nice and attentive. I was given a loaner vehicle and told it would take most of the day. (3 Recalls were being addressed) When I arrived back at the shop and sat down with the service advisor he discussed everything that was replaced and also gave me a printout of things I may want to get serviced in the near future but none were pressing and he also stated how well my car was running and the good shape it was in. I was so relieved...I was getting out of here with no problems....So I Thought!!! Less than 2 weeks later my car sounded like a jet engine ready to take off! I called The service advisor back twice but got two different advisors each time. I explained what it was doing to both of them and asked if anything they had replaced could be associated with this problem....both saying, "Oh we need to see the car and check it out before we can determine anything." However, I called again a third time time after (I took it to autozone to have a diagnostic read which stated it was an ambient light sensor possibly not connected) anyway...I told this to the service advisor the one that had assisted me initially with the recalls (3rd time calling) And he looked at my previous paperwork and stated that, "Yes the problem could be related to my initial visit and to bring it in for them to check it out". Ok.... fast forward. I bring the car in... 2 hours later, I finally ask the advisor (new one) have they found out anything yet. He comes back with a list of PROBLEMS. I'm like...Really?? 2 weeks ago I was told how great of shape my car was in and now I have over $2000 worth of repairs that need to be addressed ASAP!!!! Fast Forward Again... I took my car to a different auto shop and guess what... They repaired my car for $158!!!!!! I had everything on the quote from BMW of Northwest Ar repaired except new halos for my car. The auto shop even went on to state to me that the prices that BMW were quoting to me were Ridiculous!!! Even the halos were cheaper with the other auto shop BMW of Northwest Ar is ripping people off!!!! More
