I recently purchased a 2004 X3 and had some hesitation in the transmission. I took the vehicle in and was very well treated. The repair required that the EGS Control be sent to BMW North America for pr the transmission. I took the vehicle in and was very well treated. The repair required that the EGS Control be sent to BMW North America for programming and took 8 days to complete. When I dropped off my car, a courtesy car hadn't come back as anticipated and they got me a rental car for two days that was then replaced with a courtesy car. The transmission seems to be operating perfectly now. More
