Mixed feelings. I had a very good experience dealing with one of the sales managers and getting the deal done. Delivery person was meh. Finance guy was a nightmare, I had to write the deal for him since he had zero exprerience with MSDs on leases. It's been over 3 months and my DMV has not received the paperwork to get the car registered in my state. Now, nobody will reply to my texts or calls. Bad after sales support for sure. More

Wouldn't return texts regarding appointment and was left on hold for over 15 minutes until I was transferred to a different department that said they couldn't help and then transferred back to service department then forwarded to voice mail. Do NOT go here. Called Global Imports BMW they answered immediately, appointment scheduled, spoke with parts department- all questions answered. Great upfront service with Global Imports BMW (great reviews). Both Dealership reviews represent the different customer service they give. More
Tried to negotiate a fair deal with BMW of South Atlanta (as they were my local dealer); however, they stopped talking after two back and forth emails. Specifically, attempted to negotiate for a custom orde (as they were my local dealer); however, they stopped talking after two back and forth emails. Specifically, attempted to negotiate for a custom order using a discount from MSRP that was not only viable in my region, but also what other dealers had offered. BMW of South Atlanta not only would not work with a legit deal, they acted as if I wasn't serious. My offer (on X5 xDrive40i) would have equated to 8% off the MSRP (offered to me by no less than three other Atlanta dealers) before any manufacturer rebate. Son's (BMW of South Atlanta) also wanted to pack on additional (non-legit) fees to their offer. I would have been happy to pay the extra pack/add on if it was taken off as an additional percentage from MSPR (an offset equal to the nonsense); however, that idea was shot down by the sales associate and I was redirected to the sales manager saying he would call me to discuss and continue the discussion (i.e. explain why my offer wasn't not realistic to them). It has been two months and not a peep... Not a big deal since I turned around and made a purchase elsewhere the very next day. If you had a choice, I would go elsewhere as much better deals are had than what BMW of South Atlanta wanted to offer. Obviously, the dealer was not serious about selling a car but I was serious about buying one. Now, will pass this dealer when going to get service just to do business with a dealer who treated me fair and like they actually were happy I wanted to do business with me. It is not lost on me that the rating of this dealer is so much lower than the others. More
RUN…don’t walk away from this dealership. They are deceitful & underhanded in their dealings. They will negotiate but pull the rug out from underneath you at last minute. Too many good, hon They are deceitful & underhanded in their dealings. They will negotiate but pull the rug out from underneath you at last minute. Too many good, honest dealers out there to mess with scammers like this…especially when dealing with high end, luxury vehicles. Take your business elsewhere…this store can not be trusted. TL;DR If you have any choice, go somewhere else. This dealership is more corrupt than the usual stealership, and the service department is less competent than a high school autoshop class. I would This dealership is more corrupt than the usual stealership, and the service department is less competent than a high school autoshop class. I would have left zero stars if that was an option. I'll start with the service department. I don't know why they bother to make appointments with customers. Even getting the first appointment of the day will result in you waiting for 45 minutes since they have their daily standup meeting starting at 8am. The technicians do not understand anything about electric cars. I took my 330E in with a complaint of much reduced range on the high voltage battery system. They ran a quick test of the low voltage system and declared everything to be fine. The 90 minute appointment turned into an overnight which necessitated a ride home. More to come on that fiasco later. When I picked up the car the next morning and questioned whether they had tested the high voltage batteries they said no. I asked how they could possibly know if there was an issue with the electric drive system then. At this point they rescheduled me for another service visit. I was careful to explain in clear details why I was there and the service writer said he understood. When I got the car back the next day the service writer advised me that the tech was unable to perform the required test of the high voltage system and I was no closer to an answer than I was 2 visits and 5+ hours of my time ago. On the plus side they didn't try to charge me for these visits since they obviously didn't perform the needed service. About that ride home. The service department offers an Uber voucher to get you home. IF, and only IF, you live within their arbitrary 14 mile radius. I was denied a ride on the first service visit because I live 17 miles from the dealership. Oddly, they did get me a ride for the second visit. At this point I gave up on their service and went elsewhere. About their sales team. Do not believe a single word they tell you. Get EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, in writing. Their sales team is unresponsive, not returning calls or following through on things. Their lease turn-in process is an absolute nightmare. And their general manager will make a deal with you, then decide it is too much (despite telling you that he's willing to take the hand slap that will come from it) and will walk the offer back. He'll end up offering less than half of the original offer. When I complained he said he didn't care, "I get 40 positive reviews for every negative review." As with the service department, we took our business elsewhere. More

You can NEVER, EVER get someone to answer the phone as if they have no power, didn't pay the phone bill, or simply ignoring the calls. It's absurd. BMW South Atlanta has somehow managed to go even lower on the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay for repairs. This is complete madness. The costs to maintain a BMW is already insane, now you’re expected to have $700 cash in your pocket to cover the cost of repairs? This is 2024 not 1974, who has that kind of cash on them in Atlanta?
