I arrived at the service department on Monday at 7:15 AM and they opened promptly at 7:30 AM. I was helped by my Service Advisor Jim Gugliette immediately. Jim helped check my car and get me in a loaner a and they opened promptly at 7:30 AM. I was helped by my Service Advisor Jim Gugliette immediately. Jim helped check my car and get me in a loaner all before 7:40 AM. I was out the door with a loaner by 7:50 AM. That Monday I was held up in meetings all day and was unable to take the call from my SA Jim. However, he left a detailed message on the issues and the ETA when the work was complete. He told me to expect the work to be completed by Tuesday afternoon and he would follow up and confirm on Tuesday. Tuesday came, and again, I was tied up in meetings throughout the day and could not take his call. Jim again let me a detailed voicemail informing me that the work was done with my car and it could be picked up anytime until 7:00 PM. Picking up was a breeze and took no more than 20 minutes. Overall Jim Gugliette did a great job keeping me informed and being very customer friendly. I will definately use BMW of Towson for Service again. More
Mr. Brand is one of the best. His attention to detail, knowledge, and desire to customize the car was very satisfying. I think he could go through every iDrive command with his eyes closed. He went through the entire menu, explained each choice, answering our questions with experienced advice, all the while creating a profile that customized the entire car for my wife. BMWAccess was well explained and fully implemented. His tutelage is like a graduate course in 2.5 hours. We became jaded with the volume of information but in the end- it was just right. He knew he hit it right from the number of times we said wow. Ken Warren handled the closing contract, payment, title, registration, warranty, options, and more that I can't remember. His mastery of documentation is like choreography but was a really smooth well planned flow off paperwork. I have no idea of how many pieces of paper passed through his hands but what went though ours was organized and well explained. I appreciated the soft sell on options and services because we put a lot into ordering the vehicle exactly the way we wanted and he respected that effort. There had to be at least a dozen others who participated in preparing our car, please convey to our thanks to them for a job well done. The followup call after purchase really showed you cared. The car is much better than we hoped. It was instantly more comfortable than any other car we have had. We can't express enough the appreciation we have for the way you listened and put this transaction on track. More

The dealership and sales staff was helpful and found the car we were looking for quickly and at a reasonable price. Our salesman Nic was very thorough when showing us all the options in the vehicle. Brought my 5 series in unannounced due to a battery issue and I was promptly met by Terrance Savoy of the service department. He provided me with a loaner, promised to have the work complete by 5:30pm the ne and I was promptly met by Terrance Savoy of the service department. While I've only utilized this dealer for service (and not sales) over the past 16 years, I can say without a doubt, that this was the best experience I've had thus far with BMW of Towson's service department! Mr. Kris Kauserud is an amazing service personnel who to work with me when I brought my X3 in for the engine light repair warning. Customer service is big with me as I determine how I will spend my money and use my consumer purchasing power when receiving customer service. Mr. Kauserud was courteous, professional and very considerate when it came to my having to be at work and my need to have my vehicle back in order to fulfill my employment requirements. BMW Towson is lucky to have him as a employee who makes every effor to give stellar customer service. My experience with Towson BMW has been a good one and I will tell all my friends and colleagues how you strive for excellence. Thank you. More
Over the past 10-15 years I had stopped by and tried to deal with Towson BMW. I never had success due to rude treatment and lack of salesman/manager follow up.I went elsewhere and bought 3 times. Something good has happened, as my recent trip proved to be a winner. David Borum, with whom I had dealt at another dealership, is friendly professional and most of all extremely knowledgable about the product he sells. Two test drives, a short search of inventory and my "stop buy" ended in my transferring all of the goodies from the trunk of my old car to my new ride. I very highly recommend BMW of Towson, especially David. All of the other salesmen were great to chat with in the hour or so I waited for car prep and paperwork. I hope my dealings with their service department goes as well. More
I recently purchased a new X5 from Bill Kasper and his patience and professionalism were the main factors in my decision to buy from BMW of Towson. When I arrived at the dealership, he greeted me and listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. We found a vehicle on the lot and he took the time to explain the features and options. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with everything in the X5 as well as with what the iDrive system offered. During my visit, I never once felt rushed through the process. I have been to other dealerships in the area, and I really appreciated Bill’s patience, which ultimately led to my purchase of the X5. He has kept in contact even after the sale and maintained an outgoing and professional relationship with me. From my experience with Bill, I will definitely continue to purchase BMW vehicles from him in the future. More
Please allow me to share my most recent experience with you. On October 11, 2010 I purchased a previously onwed vehicle from Mini of Baltimore Co., a dealership which is onwed and operated by BMW of Towso you. On October 11, 2010 I purchased a previously onwed vehicle from Mini of Baltimore Co., a dealership which is onwed and operated by BMW of Towson. I must say while finalizing my purchase I discovered that some of the employees at this location were not as professional as I assumed them to be. Taking into concideration in todays economy not to many people are coming in to a dealership and purchasing vehicles out right. It was at one moment I started to walk out of the dealership and spend my hard earn money else where. After a long round of dicussion I decided to make the purchase. Note that this vehicle was to be used for business purposes. I had to meet several Maryland State requirements in order to use this vehicle for business purposes and while attempting to meet these requirement I had to have the vehicle re-inspected. It was at that moment I was informed by the mechanic that the vehicle failed the inspection. He advised me of a number of mechanical problems with the car and stated that this would be an extremely costly repair job. It was at that moment he advised me to take the car back to the place of purchase and show them failed inspection sheet. I responded back to Mini of Baltimore to advise them of this issue. Once at this location I requested to speek with the sales manager. Minutes late a gentleman approached me to inquire what was the problem? I advised him of the issue at hand. He then stated that he would need to pull the purchase order and advise his general manager of the issue. As I stood by awaiting for his return a gentleman wearing a black suit walked over and asked if I was being helped? I replied, "Yes sir, thank you." Minutes later the same gentleman return with the sales manager. It was at that moment I learned that the gentleman in black suit was the general manager of Towson Automotive, Inc., Mr. Michael Coleman. We discussed the mechanical problems with the vehicle and afterwards Mr. Coleman had the car brought around to the service bay where his chief mechanic re-inspected the vehicle and discovered the same problems that the other mechanic had noted on the failed inspection sheet. Mr. Coleman return and escorted me to the service bay area where they pointed out the problems. It was at that moment Mr. Coleman assured me that this matter would be address as soon as possible. He stated that due to the holiday approaching within the next couple of days they would not be able to contact the garage who conducted the original inspection. But I assure you that I will contact you that Monday after Thanksgiving. That Monday I recieved a call from Mr. Coleman in reference to have the repairs done to my car. I advised him that this vehicle was being used as a transport vehicle for my company and I would need a replacement vehicle similar to the large luxury sedan inwhich I purchased to continue with my business oligations. Mr. Coleman advised me not worry. The following day I responded to BMW of Towson where I met with the chief service technician, Mr. Saneman. He stated that Mr. Coleman advised him of this matter and to make sure that all things be address. Mr. Saneman had one of his workers transport me to a rent a car company so that I could select a car that met my business needs. Note that BMW of Towson picked up the cost for this rental. Later that evening Mr. Coleman contacted me via telephone to inquire how things went today at the dealership? I informed him that things went well today, Mr. Saneman was very professional, as well as the gentleman who drove me to the rent a car company. He replied, "I'm glad to hear that Mr. Robinson." "I will contact you later." Within the next few days I recieved a call from Mr. Saneman advising me that the repairs to my car had been completed and I could pick it up when ever I'm available. That day Mr. Coleman phoned me once again to make sure I satisfied with the service inwhich they supplied. I told Mr. Coleman that I was extremely satisfied with his services and I'm greatful for the level of professionalism inwhich BMW of Towson has displayed. As a retired police officer and now a new business owner, I truly understand the importance of a great customer relationship. To provide a high quality service to the community is the seal of good business. In other words, I would highly recommend your dealership to my friends, neighbors and associates to stop in and take a look at a true level execellence when it comes to product and service.
