I came in for an oil change and left with a $620 bill. My service technician said that my car was due for a new engine air filter and cabin filter, which I authorized. There was no mention of cost, so I assumed the amount would be considered reasonable by a customer. When I went to pick up my car, I noted that I did not receive a video inspection of my vehicle (which this shop used to send). I was told, "they didn't find anything," which I translate into: "we only did the work we are charging to you." The representative later told me that ownership recently changed, so maybe they are cutting corners now. The final kicker was the bill that showed over $500 for the filter changes. The only explanation I got: "sometimes they have to take apart the dashboard to replace the cabin filter." Not exactly...it's accessed from below the glove compartment...but okay, so why was the engine air filter even more expensive? That one is accessed pretty easily in the engine bay. Net-net, I was either erroneously charged or the labor rate for two 15-minute jobs was completely unreasonable. More

My first time there and not pleased. I was told that my car would only take a few hours only to find out by the end of the day yesterday that the recall part that i needed had to be deli I was told that my car would only take a few hours only to find out by the end of the day yesterday that the recall part that i needed had to be delivered in the morning. I have missed two days of work because of this inconvenience and the young man Rony made me feel like it didn’t matter. The young lady who answered the phone in the service department seemed more concerned about me than he did. Very disappointed More
I purchased my X5 in 2019 when I worked in Philadelphia and was close to BMW of the Mainline. This said, I no longer work in Philadelphia BUT I travel an hour to this dealership as the Service department and was close to BMW of the Mainline. This said, I no longer work in Philadelphia BUT I travel an hour to this dealership as the Service department is fantastic. I want to point out Debbie Schmitt who I always request to be my service advisor. She is outstanding and makes the service experience a positive one. As does the Service department that will hop on the phone and answer questions when I have them. Lastly, the team that books service appointments is also fantastic! Thank you, BMW of the Mainline!
