Unbelievable!!!!!! I have driven New Beetle VWs for the last 14 years. Many times I have ordered parts and had service with Bachman. I am disabled and can't get out as I have driven New Beetle VWs for the last 14 years. Many times I have ordered parts and had service with Bachman. I am disabled and can't get out as much as I would like too. I ordered a tiny part for my car last week, a tiny piece of plastic that has the VW logo on it, and is a center wheel insert. I have been having terrible pain with my neck injury that keeps me from driving. After paying over 35.00 for the tiny insert, I asked if they could mail it too me, I figured it wouldn't be a problem, since I live 2 miles from Bachman VW. The guy said they would mail it, but it would be 15.00 to mail it!!!!!! I ordered a part from China and it was FREE SHIPPING. But my wife wants me to order locally. I cannot believe that they charge so much for a part, but that they ask 15.00 for mailing the part to me!!! I am so discouraged with my local VW dealership. Recent visit at Bachman Auto Group Today I brought my 2001 Jetter VW into Bachman Auto Group for work that needed to be done.. I met Kevin Turner for the first time today.... He turned what could have been a negative experience into a very positive one.. He is the "best".. He is a major asset to Bachman Auto Group and definitely to VW of America... He was caring and very patient,,,I am hearing impaired and he took the time to explain everything to me.. I had a good friend who recommended Bachman Volkswagon and I took their advice! I was treated like family from the first call to getting promptly in.. They found that I had a nail inside the wall of the tire within a short time.. I knew I was going to need new tires soon, so went ahead and got all 4 done.. I was so impressed with their prompt professional service, I'd gladly recommend my family and friends to them with no hesitation! More
10,000 Mile Service I called the dealer a few days in advance to setup an appointment for Saturday service. Arrived about 30 minutes before appointment. The service department did an inspection of the car and found a nail in the rear passenger tire. Thought I would have to pay for the tire replacement. Talked with Drew our salesperson and he thought we bought extended service. Ended up we had and the repair was taken care of and under warranty. (No cost out of pocket for the work performed.) This was my first service with Bachman and it was what I expect. Customer waiting area was not bad. I plan to use them for all my service needs. The service department was going through some changes at the time of the service. This did cause some issues with paperwork but everything went vary well. More
Poor Service I made appointment several weeks ago for the first serving, 10K 9AM Saturday morning. After arriving at 08:35, I was second in line. While waiting in line I spoke to the diver of the first car who told me he didn't have an appointment. At 09:03 the garage door was opened and we drove our cars in. A representative went over to the first person in line and started to assist him.. I stood there for a couple of minutes turn around and saw another representative helping the third car in line? Both reps went inside after a few minutes I walked in and ask the question exactly how does this work? The customer (number 3) apologized and said he had told the VW representative I was next but the rep had stated not to worry about it. While waiting I overheard another customer saying to this same Bachman rep he was going to call the manager to complain. The rep replied that today was his last day; he had excepted a position with BMW. After waiting several hours I was fanally told my car was ready. I was given the keys to my car and went out to drive away only to find the radio was on and would not go off! I went back in and another another rep came out and was unable to shut the radio off after trying for several minutes. After another 20 minutes they were able to resolve the problem I was told by reinstalling a software update. No excuse for handing a customer the keys after servicing a vehicle without insuring the vehicle was ready. I won't not be back. More

I had a High Pressure Fuel Pump failure at 139,000 miles which essentially totaled the car. When I called VW they told me they could not help me. The dealership was able to get VW to pay for the repair. If you have a TDI from 2009 or 2010, be aware that the HPFP has a weakness causing total failure. My car is the third into Bachman THIS WEEK for the same problem. VW has paid for this failure, but should probably issue a recall. More
Our VW Golf was in for a ERG recall and Bachman service didn't reinstall the ERG bracket. So after about 10,000 miles a ERG cooler pipe vibrated until it broke into. I didn't realize the bracket was't t didn't reinstall the ERG bracket. So after about 10,000 miles a ERG cooler pipe vibrated until it broke into. I didn't realize the bracket was't there and I replaced the broken pipe. After about another 10,000 pipe broke again. I was told by a good auto tech (not Bachman) that maybe they didn't replace a bracket. I didn't know what bracket it was and talked to Bachman's shop foreman (Bill Smith) and said they wouldn't leave a part out. The pipe broke again. I Googled it and found other dealers across country have left this bracket off during this EGR RECALL and the pipe will fail. After showing Bachman's service manager (Sherry Baker) all of my documents of service and the Google references she only would agree to furnish the bracket they left off and wouldn't even replace the pipe. Worst service in world. Left me waiting, hoping I would go away. Knowing what they did wrong. All I wanted was the price of the pipes I brought from them. I have never complained in writing before, but I feel I need to warn others about how bad Bachman's service is. "BEWARE of BACHMAN service" More

The shuttle has also been convenient, timely, and friendly. I never feel "talked down to"as a female, and I am very happy with every aspect of doing business with Bachman Volkswagen.
