My most recent visit was for the PA state inspection. If the car needs something they explain it in detail. I never feel like I am being sold something I don't really need. The waiting area is nice, clean, has wi-fi and even free coffee and snacks! The employees in the service area are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely buy my next car at Baierl Honda and continue to have it serviced there! More

Wonderful salesperson, annoying 'finance' closer We decided to buy a new Honda, and we chose a make, model and color. The Baierl web site showed that exact make, model and color, so we sent an emai We decided to buy a new Honda, and we chose a make, model and color. The Baierl web site showed that exact make, model and color, so we sent an email inquiry with an offer. Our inquiry was promptly answered with a fair counter-offer, so we scheduled a visit. The car did not exist. The salesperson tried (not too hard) to upsell us to the premium trim with the gizmos we didn't want, and then let us test drive the exact model in a different color. He said that for an additional $200 he could fetch the right color from another dealer out of state. This didn't seem too horrible (though dealers regularly trade inventory to close sales without extra charges), but he was mostly helpful and pleasant, so we agreed. He wrote up a price sheet including some (to my mind) useless options like hundreds of dollars to put nitrogen in the tires and 'extended' warranty. We left a deposit and came back a couple of days later. There was the car, with 161 miles on it, nice and clean and ready to go. Then we get put in a room with the 'finance' guy. We were paying cash: Give us the amount, we'll write the check, and we're done. But finance guy was obsessed with upselling us with the 'extended' warranty. We've had Hondas for years, and their proven reliability exposes 'extended' warranties for the racket they are. Finance guy ran imaginary numbers a bunch of ways, pulled out a big Ford sales brochure on extended warranties, wouldn't give it up. Basically ruined the buying experience. Yep. Buying a car is a lousy experience. Finally got him to give up, paid, and left just in time for rush hour traffic on the way home. More

Ridiculously long wait I had an early morning appointment to get new tires. The tires were selected prior to the appointment. Here I am, 2.5 hours later, and still waiting., What’s the point of an appointment if your vehicle is going to be serviced whenever they feel like it? My time is very valuable too. Perhaps Baierl can set more realistic appointment times. More
