Unprofessional Salesman I am very upset that I was mislead by the salesman that I was approved for a car after I told him I did not want to go to the dealership and waste my I am very upset that I was mislead by the salesman that I was approved for a car after I told him I did not want to go to the dealership and waste my time if I was not approved. He reassured me that his manager said I was approved and to bring my check stubs down. I also advised over the phone that I did not want to put anything down and that I just wanted to trade in my current vehicle. He said that was fine and that wouldn't affect anything. So I go to the dealership thinking I am approved known that I shouldn't of even went because everyone knows how a car salesman is but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He was very unprofessional didn't know how to call my lender for a pay off and called another customer to tell them they were approved for a car in Spanish when I am English speaking. Turns out I wasn't pre approved I needed a cosigner or a down payment or wait 7 months before I can get a new car. So I fell into their trap. I don't appreciate that when I was up front letting him know that I want a guaranteed pre approval before I waste my time and getting my hopes up thinking I was going to get a new car. Not cool Francisco!!! More
2004 Chrysler Crossfire experience I found the Crossfire on-line, called in, got info on the vehicle, flew into Bakersfield, went to the dealership, met Jaime, and from then on I was to I found the Crossfire on-line, called in, got info on the vehicle, flew into Bakersfield, went to the dealership, met Jaime, and from then on I was totally taken care of... :). If ya want a car, new or pre-owned, see the boys, & girls, at Bakersfield Hyundai..! My Crossfire went through their service dept, where it got like a 172 point inspection, new tires and a detail.. Very Happy...!! More

Not What They Seem I bought my wife's Accent from this dealer last August (2013). They were recommended by a coworker. Oh yes, people were polite, friendly and seem very I bought my wife's Accent from this dealer last August (2013). They were recommended by a coworker. Oh yes, people were polite, friendly and seem very honest. I would have been happy if I did not find out....my coworker had $500 off for financing with Hyundai and another $500 for being a veteran. I called this dealership regarding these discounts. I was told by this guy name PJ that my coworker got this discount through financing (at 0%). Yes, big fat zero. I paid mine cash and they never mention about the $500 discount if I finance it for 0%. Does this make any sense to anybody? They also said they did not know I was a veteran. Despite the fact that 70% of what we talked about while we were there were sea stories ( I was with a friend who was also a navy vet). And oh, that's how I know PJ was in the Marine Corp. They started calling me back after they found out what I wrote on their review (for the manufacturer). Now they want to give me the $500 for being a vet (just send them my DD214). I was so bitter and no longer trust them that I did not even bother sending them my DD214 to get that $500. I did not even return there for the free oil change. Too bad though because, a friend of mine who went there with me would have bought a car there 2 months later. He opt out for a Ford Fiesta instead. I'll buy Hyundai again. Just not from this dealer. I love my new car. More
Full Warranty Provided at the time of purchase and taken off after few days explaining they did mistake. Even after doing 100% payment through my cradit and debit cards, They did multiple hard credit inquir off after few days explaining they did mistake. After having a bad experience, I received an email to contact the general sales manager Angel morfin. After calling and explaining to him the my experience he immediately asked what can I do to make it r contact the general sales manager Angel morfin. After calling and explaining to him the my experience he immediately asked what can I do to make it right. I told him that I would like the price I was originally quoted and he agreed. I left today in the car I wanted because Angel morfin and Eric Aguilar cared enough to make my experience a memorable one. It shows great character when someone can admit when they're wrong, these guys did that and made up for it with a great experience. Thank you Angel and Eric two people you should go see at Bakersfield Hyundai. More
My experience with Bakersfield Hyundai started with a friendly greeting by Daniel Quillen. Nick was friendly and helpful. Daniel was friendly, knowledgeable an eager to help me select a vehicle. I went to Bakersfield Hyundai to look at vehicles for my daughter. Before my contact that day, I knew absolutely nothing about Hyundai's. After all my questions an concerns were answered by Daniel, I decided to lease a vehicle for my daughter. The final paperwork was prepared by Nick Martinez. Nick, like Daniel was friendly, personable and a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the contract. While waiting for Nick to complete the paperwork, Daniel and I looked at other Hyundai's. When I came across a Sonata Hybrid, I wanted to know more about this vehicle. Daniel explained to me in detail about the Sonata. After Daniel's explanation about the Sonata, I determined this was the vehicle I have been looking for for quite some time. Being that I commute more than the average person, the Sonata Hybrid was the perfect vehicle for my wife and I. No matter what question I had about either vehicle, Daniel had the answer. Being a 50+ year old person, I grew up not having a lot of faith in a Car Salesman. Daniel shattered my preconceived opinion's about Car Salesman. Daniel was honest, friendly and a wealth of information. If not been for Daniel's and Nick's demeanor throughout the whole process, I most likely would not have driven away with two brand new vehicles in the same week from Bakersfield Hyundai. I would highly recommend Bakersfield Hyundai and Daniel Quillen and Nick Martinez. If the service staff is anything like the sales staff, I will no doubt be driving Hyundai's for a long time. I have already recommended Hyundai's to several of my friends. I can honestly say I have not been this excited about driving a vehicle in a very long time. More
