My experience with this dealer was a little rough at first—mainly due to miscommunications and an incorrectly placed order—but once Joe Orefice took charge of the situation, I experienced nothing but to first—mainly due to miscommunications and an incorrectly placed order—but once Joe Orefice took charge of the situation, I experienced nothing but top notch customer service. He was proactive, reliable, thorough, attentive and kind. He made himself available by phone after business hours as we were trying to sort through the situation and set things right. He went above and beyond his call of duty to make up for the earlier fumbles, and I actually ended up receiving the car sooner than I'd originally expected. Even after the sale, he continued to be helpful and engaged, and was able to secure my plates a couple weeks in advance. James Kieffer and Randy Sassone were also very helpful in moving the process along towards the end. So, in spite of the rocky start, I ended up having an incredibly positive experience, and felt that I was treated with genuine respect. Thank you once again, team! More
When a dealership cant get a purchase contract correct after 4 attempts, you should probally consider another dealership. Singed paperwork for NEW plates and my old plates got transfered ( also paid for after 4 attempts, you should probally consider another dealership. As far as the sales person i worked with he was great ( exceeeded my expectations ) unfortunatly everything that was done after he was done with me was horrid. The managment at this dealership lies in an attempt to cover themselves , when they finally got caught in a lie things changed quickly. More

I came back to Balise for a 2014 Forester after having a great experience in both sales and service on my first purchase, a 2009 Forester. Salesmen Joe Orefice, Sales Manager Randy Sassone, and G.M. James Keiffer went above and beyond to get me what I wanted at a price that I wanted to pay. James repeatedly took time out of his busy schedule to personally assist me. That's BIG! I was treated with respect and consideration at all times. The best compliment that I can give these guys is that if you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the dance that you have to do at most dealerships, give them a try. You can trust them to put your interests ahead of the big sell. More

I have purchased many cars over my lifetime. Our experience with Joe Orefice at Balise Subaru stands out as the best of the lot. We purchased a 2013 premium Forrester in Marine Blue Pearl. This color and model combination is scarce at this time. We negotiated a price in 5 minutes, that was reasonable according to Kelley Blue Book, and Joe undertook to find the car within three days. Two days later he had located one in CT, had it delivered to his dealership and we closed the next day. Joe was straightforward, professional and under promised and over delivered throughout the transaction. I can't recommend Joe or the dealership more highly. The contrast with another local Subaru dealership, where we went first, couldn't have greater. More

He made knowledgeable information in assisting my purchase very "at ease" with no pressure.- I would like to also acknowledge Charlene in Finance Dept; BOTH gave their own personal time ( stayed after closing hours) to make sure I was fully happy with ALL the decisions I was making, step by step, a computability level that made me where I needed to be at TIMES thru process! Lastly and mostly, - they went above and beyond my expectations and worked diligently so I could (unexpectedly) receive a better "rate" = better APR !!!! Exceptional group of employees!!!! More
