I bought a new Subaru 16 years ago, and have been VERY pleased with the car. After 16 years it was time to give her a rest! Although I wanted another Subaru, I was doubtful I would be able to buy one tha pleased with the car. After 16 years it was time to give her a rest! I decided to check out Subaru first, but was not happy with the treatment I had received from my previous dealer (in all aspects...from sales to service). I read some positive reviews about Steve Lewis Subaru and decided to give them a try. I am happy I did! Jesse Bilodeau was knowledgeable, PATIENT, and worked extremely hard to get me into a new Subaru with the monthly payment I was willing to make. Kerry (I didn't catch his last name) was great as well! Both also had a great sense of humor (which you need if I am your car sales customer!). In the end I was happy with the deal, as were they. He is knowledgeable about his products, but best of all, he listened to us as we explained what we were looking for in a car. We felt no pressure, only his earnest interest in helping us find a car that would meet our needs and interests. To us, that defines exceptional customer service. We appreciated Jesse's humor and light touch -- which were the right touches for us. Jesse anticipated our questions and on pick-up day, he showed us and explained every item in the car and on the dashboard. He asked us to test drive the car again before finalizing our purchase. We were not rushed, and Jesse's patient attention to detail reassured us that the car would be as we had ordered. In these kinds of big purchases the manner and attitude of the salesperson make all the difference to us. One can easily distinguish between false friendliness in the interests of making a sale and genuine effort to serve the customer's needs. Jesse is in the latter category. He distinguishes not only himself but also the entire Steve Lewis organization. We gave a lower mark on the issue of price, simply because we had little leverage on negotiating a lower price. I recently purchased a 2012 Subaru Legacy Limited. The car was not in their inventory on Thursday evening, but by Saturday morning, the car was on their property. The staff was all incredibly friendly, and not a single individual sales person attempted to sell something that I did not request. I met with Kerry O'Sullivan, Gus Erksine, a man named Joe, and another man named Kevin. The people at this dealership were very honest about all aspects of the car, and even worked out the rough payments financially before bringing the car onsite. There were several representatives willing to assist me in understanding the features of the vehicle, and explaining the various options and packages that Subaru offers for different models of cars. Each representative was willing to answer any possible questions about the vehicle, and if they did not have the answer, they found out the answer from the appropriate party. Overall, this dealership was incredibly easy to work with. All paperwork and registration, etc. was easily taken care of, and the employees explained what each step was on the credit application as well as on the forms that would be signed. There were also no hidden fees or preparations for the vehicle that were added to the price. The dealership offered the preparations before presenting the paperwork to ensure that it was something that I had wanted. I would DEFINITELY recommend Steve Lewis Subaru to anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru. More

We had bought a 2011 Impreza but a few months after that purchase, after seeing the newly redesigned 2012 Impreza, we wanted to move up to the newer model. They are all curtious, professional and a pleasure to deal with. They were able to get the vehicle down to a price I could not pass up. Like I stated earlier, I had been doing my homework. The patient staff even stayed open till after nine for us. I have been told by more than one that I am a little "type A". We have been putting off the buying of a new car because of the "headache" of having to deal with car dealers! We are so very pleased to have found Steve and Justin. He answered all of our questions very promptly and was at our service during the entire weekend. He knew we had done the research, that we were informed about prices and he treated us with great respect and patience. Thank you Steve. Steve gave us a fair quote, we decided to make the trip to the dealer and drop off our old cars to be appraised. A Thursday night, we met Justin. He welcomed us into the dealership with a great smile and immediately found all the corresponding information from our conversations with Steve. Justin took care of us from this point. He showed us the car and even though it was late, he took us for a road test. He was also very patient and helped us get a good and fair deal for our old cars. Even though his supervisor/business manager was not willing to offer us the minimum we were ready to receive for our old cars, Justin called us back next morning and encouraged us to come back to talk and find a better deal for all. At the end Justin made everything work. The business manager agreed and we were happy. We bought a beautiful Black Obsidian Pearl 2012 Forester, paid a fair price and received a fair trade-in for our old cars. We are extremely grateful to both, Steve and Justin for making this process a wonderful experience. We would have never imagined that buying a new car could be an enjoyable experience. We will absolutely come back to Subaru for maintenance and to say HI to our friends ... even though we have a great family mechanic, and we'll have to explain that to him. More
