I know my credit rating isn't the greatest, and was thinking I would qualify only for some older vehicle with fairly high mileage. I visited the dealership with the intention of only seeing what was available to me. I left with a brand new very nice car (2015 Altima) that I can afford and that meets the needs of my very tall grandchildren. My associate Ray Pusey was very considerate professional and helpful, as was James who is now my account manager. When a glitch with my insurance came up Ray worked tirelessly to get it resolved. I love my new car and if I ever need another one I will be returning to this dealership, as well as recommending it to all my friends looking for a vehicle. Everyone there was friendly and helpful as well as pleasant. My previous experience left me soured on car salesman. I wish I'd come there first! More
Great salesperson!!!! I came into Nissan of Chesapeake just to see what I could get with a very tight budget. I knew that my credit wasn't the best due to personal reasons I came into Nissan of Chesapeake just to see what I could get with a very tight budget. I knew that my credit wasn't the best due to personal reasons but Jonelle made me feel like my business was must appreciated and she treated me like she cared. She listened to my wants and needs and selected the perfect car for me and in my price range. This was a very stressful situation for me because I was buying a car for the first time and I was all by myself but Jonelle and everyone in the dealership made me feel so relaxed. And Anthony in finances never made me feel embarrassed about my credit situation. He let me know my options and moved forward with the sale of my car. I will always come to Nissan of Chesapeake when I purchase a car again. And I strongly recommend friends and family to do the same More

Quick N EZ off the showroom floor While servicing my Armada I strolled through the showroom and caught a good look at the newly redesigned Maxima. I had no intentions on purchasing a n While servicing my Armada I strolled through the showroom and caught a good look at the newly redesigned Maxima. I had no intentions on purchasing a new vehicle that day. But after a couple of questions to Gino about features, a test drive of another Maxima on the lot, and a courtesy call to the Mrs., I was signing paperwork and the car was being pulled out the showroom before my Armada was done being serviced. Gino was fantastic and made me feel very comfortable with buying my 3rd Nissan in 8 yrs. The only hiccup was the VIN # on the 1st batch of paperwork didnt match the vehicle. I noticed this when I took the papers over to the vehicle to check. I do believe that this was an honest mistake and not the bait and switch, because the car I test drove was about $1K more than the showroom model. I didnt check to see if the wrong VIN# was from the test driven car but hopefully that was the case. Carlton Sample was courteous as well and worked with me to get the paymts in my ballpark, but his 1st attempt to get me to come up had the price of the vehicle being $5K more than the sticker price. When I asked, "Where did that figure come from?" I got, (I don't know let me check), and it was not addressed after that. Those mistakes/tactics are the only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars. Ray Simms was fantastic as well as the rest of the salepersons present. Nice touch with the announcement and everyone congratulating me on my purchase. More
