Purchased a 2017 Altima in 2018 with 17K miles, went to Banister in 2019 with 22K miles, for my STATED free inspection and free oil change for as long as I own the car and had no problems, THEN.... Now, 10 Banister in 2019 with 22K miles, for my STATED free inspection and free oil change for as long as I own the car and had no problems, THEN.... Now, 10/19/2020, with 27K miles "free" is NO LONGER "free"...UNLESS I want them to do "at least one of their recommended" services. That is what was stated to me by Brian Doctor when I mentioned "free".... DO NOT GO TO BANISTER FOR ANYTHING "FREE" THEY TOLD YOU, YOU WOULD GET "FREE". They have LIED and MISREPRESENTED themselves.... More
Terrible customer service. Once you purchase, they're no longer interested in giving satisfactory service. Don't get service there. They do not call to notify when your vehicle is done, & you'll be having t longer interested in giving satisfactory service. Don't get service there. They do not call to notify when your vehicle is done, & you'll be having to call them to check on status. If you have an appt, they do not follow that. I had appt for 8:00am; dropped car off night before. They did not even start service (oil chg & safety insp) on my vehicle until after i called @ 2:30 pm to check if it was done. And, response was "we have appts we're working on". Duh, i had an appt!!!!!!! This isn't 1st time i've had terrible service with them. Now i only take my vehicle to them for free oil chg. I will go elsewhere for everything else. More
WARNING! ILLEGAL SALES PRACTICE! Please read this before purchasing a vehicle here. I went into the dealership with the intentions of buying a bigger vehicle for my family and was looking at a Nissan Rogue purchasing a vehicle here. I went into the dealership with the intentions of buying a bigger vehicle for my family and was looking at a Nissan Rogue while doing their key swap program. Looked at a few models and ended up going with an SL trim. I liked the car but wanted to see the window sticker for the purchase price and full features but it was NOT ON THE WINDOW OR ANYWHERE IN THE CAR INCLUDING GLOVE BOX. I understand taking down the sticker for test drives but it should be put up right after the drive. I asked about it but was told I could see it when we pulled up numbers. We get back and the manager just flat out gave me a monthly payment and asked if I could do it. We went back and forth on numbers but something seemed off because the monthly payments still seemed high. (I asked multiple times to see the breakdown but never got it). I go back to talk to the business person to start getting everything together and was FINALLY presented the purchase price which was around 38,895$. I told him that doesn't look right and was told that was their price. I pull up their website and it said that MSRP was 33,965$ and the Banister price was 29,236$ (assuming I qualified for all the discounts). Being a MILITARY member I qualified for a few rebates. I asked once again if I could see a breakdown of why I was being over charged nearly 10,000 dollars over their advertised price. He went and talked to someone and came back saying they would sell me the car for MSRP acting like they were cutting me a deal. If I had not looked up the price myself they could've CONNED me out of almost 10,000 dollars! I told my buddy about the experience thinking that not displaying a window sticker was some sort of GRIMEY sales tactic but was informed that it is actually ILLEGAL by Federal Law to remove or alter the sticker if you are not the ultimate purchaser. Well, to this day I have not seen or received the sticker from the dealership and am actually LIVID at the fact that this manager that said he was prior military would even try to scam a fellow Vet. Not sure if he was actually in the military previously but the display of lack of integrity shows me that he probably wasn't. I have had a few other issues with this dealership but performing ILLEGAL sales practice such as that to squeeze more money out is the straw that broke the camel's back. (I understand the dealership can put their own price on the vehicle but I didnt even know it to begin with since I never saw the window sticker). I am so pissed that I will not be coming back free state inspections and oil changes or not. Also, I will pass the word to everyone I know about what happened as I am sure there are a few more vehicles on their lot without the stickers displayed. IF YOU ARE MILITARY OR COMING TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE PLEASE READ UP ON THE LAWS THESE DEALERSHIPS HAVE TO FOLLOW! More
They wanted me to pay, in total, 46,000 for a 36 month LEASE. The titan was only worth 53,000. That is more a month than my apartments rent. I tried to haggle but they told me that was the best they could LEASE. The titan was only worth 53,000. That is more a month than my apartments rent. I tried to haggle but they told me that was the best they could do. I also have excellent credit so I do not understand their motive for outrageous payments. More
