I have been using banks service dept now since 2018. It is open super early, offers shuttle service that will drop me off at work and pick me up when my car is ready. While the service at Banks has always been satisfactory, I have had a few issues with some of the encounters with the service writers. The latest was when I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Malibu hybrid in for i I have had a few issues with some of the encounters with the service writers. The latest was when I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Malibu hybrid in for it's annual state inspection. I informed the gentleman at the counter the reason for my visit and then also added that the check engine light had just recently (within the last 24 hours) had come on. At this point he immediately surmised that the vehicle would FAIL inspection. I proceeded to have the vehicle inspected anyway so I could at least FIND OUT FROM A DIAGNOSTIC TEST what the problem might be. Apparently there was no problem as the vehicle did pass inspection. His automatic assumption without actually knowledge caused me stress I did not need! Upon being notified that my vehicle was done he never reassured me of the mistake he made not even acknowledged it. The only other issue I've ever had with Banks service is that it seems to take well over an hour to perform a standard oil change. I guess this to justify billing the customer the hours labor! Thus I will be doing my own oil changes on this vehicle from now on. It shouldn't be costing nearly a $100.00 dollars for a simple oil change! More

Banks GMC Dealership was great to work with when I bought a used truck. The sales rep was on top of answering all of my questions and sending more pictures because I couldn't show up at the dealership to dr a used truck.
