Had a service appointment to replace the side mirror on my vehicle. I also added an inspection, tire rotation and oil change. First time at Banks and I enjoyed my experience. I drove my car right in , proved my information, waited in a a nice clean and comfortable waiting room for a total of 30 mins for an inspection. My wife and I dropped our 2017 GMC Yukon Denali off for transmission service due to a CEL and we’ll documented issue. The first trip was to diagnose the problem and ensure our extended warranty covered the transmission service due to a CEL and we’ll documented issue. The first trip was to diagnose the problem and ensure our extended warranty covered the work. They weren’t able to do the work then so we scheduled a follow up appointment. We arrived to drop it off and they did not call the warranty company as promised and then called us at the end of the day saying they weren’t able to get to it. They did the work the next morning and called us telling us the work wasn’t covered by extended warranty and it would be $300 to reassemble. The $140 diagnostic, multiple trips up, and $300 sunk reassembly cost you have no choice but to pay another $205 for the sensor, gasket and oil. Very poor communication and they did not follow through to ensure a great customer experience. We have purchased and serviced multiple vehicles with Banks and have seen a drastic change. More
