Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, and almost immediately they told me I needed new cabin and engine air filters—despite my OnStar app showing that both were in good condition. The morning after the oil change, my tire pressure sensor light came on, so I called the dealership, and they scheduled me for an appointment the next day. When I returned, I not only witnessed them trying to push the same cabin and engine air filter replacements on another customer, but they also told me the issue with my tire sensors was due to dead batteries and quoted me $300 to fix it. I declined and instead made an appointment at the dealership where I originally purchased my car. They quickly discovered that the mechanic at Baxter had simply reset the sensors incorrectly—the batteries were perfectly fine. Imagine if I had: Paid for unnecessary filter replacements without checking my app, and Spent $300 on a non-existent issue. Feels like a money grab to me. Good luck! More

I feel like the customer service when checking in is really lacking. It always seems like they are being put out to check you in and it takes too long when you have already called to schedule for a spec really lacking. I watched a lady behind me literally get ignored for about five minutes. I think they could take a page from Chick-fil-A and greet people when they come in. Let the person know you see them and will be getting to them shortly. The guy appeared to be doing nothing while she continued to stand there. It was very rude and I hope she does an honest survey. The men do not acknowledge customers until they invite them to check I . Why not say hello when the customer walks in and give them an idea of how long it will be until they will be checked in? Then make the checkin shorter since most people need to get to work. And if the worker thinks your car isn’t new enough or fancy enough they should never give on to their opinion. My car might not be brand new but it is important to me. And why does the checkin guy think so highly of himself? We are all people who deserve respect and honor not to be looked down at or talked down to. I wish there was another Cadillac dealer local so I didn’t have to service my car here. More
