I walked in nervous and knowing I needed to leave with a vehicle that day. Failure to Communicate I bring my 2015 GMC Sierra truck to Barker GMC to get my service work done. I have had some mixed results on my experience when I go. Once I had a lug I bring my 2015 GMC Sierra truck to Barker GMC to get my service work done. I have had some mixed results on my experience when I go. Once I had a lug nut fall off the following day due to the tech not torquing the lug nuts after a tire rotation. When I went back to the service department to talk to them about it they wanted me to pay for a new lug nut. After some talking they agreed to replace the lug nut and re torque all of the wheels. My last service was on 7.6.2020 for an oil change and tire rotation. When I pulled into the service station I noticed that they have signs put up that explain that if a customer wants to wait inside for the service work to be finished they would have to wear a mask. I decided to just wait outside for my service work to be completed. The guy that brings the vehicles to the back for service gets into my truck and pulls to the back side of the service station. He gets out and opens both the driver and passenger doors, I am thinking to just put in the paper floor mats and some plastic on the driver seat. No big deal!!! He then grabs a spray gun that is used for painting cars or houses that is in a 5 gallon bucket with no label or no lid on it. He then sprays the inside of my truck with whatever is in the bucket. I am now extremely upset because I was never asked if I was ok with them doing this to my truck. The service manager could not tell me what was in the bucket and explained that it is something that GMC is requiring them to do because of Covid-19. I explained that this is my truck and my choice if I would like to have my truck serviced at Barker with the truck "disinfected". I would have brought my truck to another service shop to have the work done if I would have been told what they were going to do with the "disinfectant". I WAS NOT GIVEN A CHOICE!! When I get home to check the tire pressure I then notice that they did not fill all of my tires with the same amount of air pressure, but the paperwork states that they filled all tires with 35psi. I now have to go find an air compressor and put the right amount of air in all of my tires that I just had paid to have done. I really don't think that I will be returning for any service work or to even purchase a new vehicle due to the service problems. More
