Trash con artists that run the maintenance department. They asked if I wanted to change my air filter. They even showed me a filthy air filter that they said was mine. I told them no and changed my own. W They asked if I wanted to change my air filter. They even showed me a filthy air filter that they said was mine. I told them no and changed my own. When I changed it, it was a different color and not nearly as dirty as the one they showed me. They showed me an appt filter that wasn't even mine!! They tried to scam me to add more maintenance to my bill. Also, I asked them to get the nail out of my tire. They said they could not find it. I was in a rush to get to work so I didn't dispute it. 7 days later I'm stuck in Fourchon because of the same nail in the tire that they couldn't find. The maintenance division is nothing more than a money generating division that knows as much about maintenance as a high school grad fresh out of vo-tech. I'll only bring my vehicle in for routine maintenance until my warranty expires and then I'm done. More

When I was in the market for a new Truck last year, I test drove them all. I found that the GMC Sierra AT4 drove by far, better than all the competition. I was looking at the Denelli at first, but for the money the AT4 was the best deal and it was more sporty looking and it had all the extras and accessories that I was looking for and that the Denelli had and more. I have had my AT4 for a little over a year now and I am totally satisfied with the Quality, Performance and Luxury that this truck has. Now, what can I say about Barker GMC in Houma, La. well like I said earlier, I have dealt with almost every dealership in my area and by far Barker GMC has taking care of me before, during and after the sale like no one else. Dawn the manager was great. I wasn't happy with the financing aspect. He was more worried about selling a warranty than getting me the best interest rate. Only got be a better interest rate to fit the financing aspect. He was more worried about selling a warranty than getting me the best interest rate. I repeatedly said no but he kept on hammering me. Now I'm paying 30-40 more a month just to shut him up. Also it would be nice if the GM returned phone calls. More
