If you would like to be hosed, go to Bart's Car Store on Illinois. They will take your money, used car, and leave you with an overpriced vehicle. They are not above saying the car is better than it is. Do n Illinois. They will take your money, used car, and leave you with an overpriced vehicle. They are not above saying the car is better than it is. Do not expect anything good to come from the "deal". Do your homework and avoid Bart's Car Store at all cost or else it will cost you in the end. I have attempted to work with the dealership to rectify the situation and they insist I got a fair deal. Meanwhile, I am out my Cougar overpaying for my vehicle by two thousand dollars. In total, due to my lack of knowledge and stupidity, I am out a total of four thousand dollars on a Mazda 6 and regret ever walking into that store. Do NOT trust anyone in this store. I didn't and was walked to the wall of awards and given a speech about their "good business" policies and how they are there for you "before, during, and after the sale". More

He sh Scott was great! He took his time with me for everything. He went over the history of Barts car store, compared to other high rise dealers. He showed me carfax, as I had never went through the facts before. He told me about the discounts they can give through Tom Steele. And allowed me to continue driving my SUV until we found the bank that was willing to give me the loan. I referred my parent's as well. They left really happy! Because of Barts car store, my parent's are no longer placed in a roll-over situation. Thank you for your excellent Customer Service and patience. More
Started with the Barts in Anderson, i called first and told them that i was intressted in a Hummer H3 they had a red one i like and had questons about it.Well of course they wanted me to come in, so i exp told them that i was intressted in a Hummer H3 they had a red one i like and had questons about it.Well of course they wanted me to come in, so i explain to them that my credit was not so good but he insis ted that they can get me finance and not to worry with my good job. So i go there and fill out paperwork and get done and they tell me to test drive the hummer for about an hour so that they can get word about my financing. I drive the hummer and i like it so they tell me they hadnt heard from the "Bank" yet so they will call me, well the next day came no call, then the next day, still no call, after the third day i was online and saw a navigator at the fort wayne store, so i called the store and talk to the salesman and told them about the way that i havent heard from the anderson store in three days and he said that he will call there mananger and let them know i was waiting on a phone call from them, well no call for another day. The salesman i talk too in fort wayne called to see if i have heard from anderson and i told him no, then he said all my info was on computer so lets try to get the navigator, so i said fine with me after dealing with the no calls from the anderson store. Well i get no phone from fort wayne for a full day then the next day i get an E-MAIL from the fort wayne store stating that they havent been able to meet my needs, xxx!!! so it is safe to say that they cant get me finance, but a car dealership in ohio ran my credit and i got APPROVED!! Me and my fiance stopped by the Barts car store in fort wayne, they advertised some nice vehicles on there site we wanted to check out, once we got there it took someone 10 mins of us walking around to fin wayne, they advertised some nice vehicles on there site we wanted to check out, once we got there it took someone 10 mins of us walking around to finally ask if we needed help, then the vehicles we were interested in had various dmg to them they didn't list or include in a picture at all. One was a 1995 Honda accord they had no pic of and priced at 2,000, it had slash marks in the seats, the body was destroyed all over, rust on every quarter panel on the car and they had the nerve to ask for 2 grand for this piece of crap, most of there vehicles have small dents/scratchs/dings etc all over them... Over all this was a Huge disappointment and i will never go back to a barts car store again and nor will any of our friends/family... More
My husband had a Jeep that was paid off but we were sinking money into left and right. He really needed a truck so he could start doing odd jobs and hauling his tools around. We found one online that w sinking money into left and right. He really needed a truck so he could start doing odd jobs and hauling his tools around. We found one online that we loved but it was in Avon, IN. We called the Fort Wayne location and Scott got things set up so my husband could drive a truck down to Avon and pick up the truck he was interested in. (That is a fantastic way to get a good test drive in!) He drove the truck back from Avon and fell in love with it. We traded in the Jeep and got a pretty good deal on the truck. We also bought the 3 year warranty coverage and had that rolled into our loan. Scott was a great salesman and it was a nice process. We would have liked to have gotten more for the Jeep, of course, but it's SO nice being in a reliable vehicle now especially right before the winter season! We'd definitely recommend Barts and Scott Eubank. More
We visited Bart's Car store on Illinois Road on July 28th to look at a vehicle we found online. After hours of being shown vehicles we were not interested in they pulled the 'bait and switch' and offered us to look at a vehicle we found online. After hours of being shown vehicles we were not interested in they pulled the 'bait and switch' and offered us a new '2011 Chevy Equinox' that was 'within our budget' even though they said the 2006 Vue was out of our league. When they had us test drive the Equinox, the only car we were even allowed to test drive, after signing a paper that said "If we test drive the car and the price meets our budget we WILL buy the car" the salesman Marq lied to us about several aspects of the vehicle. He turned off the Odometer view so I never saw the mileage but told me it had 80,000. It is also making a rattling noise which he insisted was only the AC that we have later come to find out is actually a recalled part that will cost thousands and several days to repair. We also noticed that one of the tires had low air and asked if there was a problem in which he insisted there was not, but the past week we have had the car it has gone flat every single day and needed to be repaired. He also advertised the car as being a 2011, which we later found out after we signed the paperwork that it was actually a 2010. When we came back in from the test drive we were coerced with extreme force and in numbers to buy this car and that they would make the payments what we needed them to be. We told them there was absolutely no way we could afford more than 250 a month and they tried to say that what we were paying for the car was only 15 thousand because of our trade. This was not true because yes, we traded in the impala, but the money from the Impala went towards them purchasing the Impala! We also told them we had a payment due on the Impala in two days and they insisted we don't make the payment because they would send out a check that very day and it would throw off the payoff amount for the loan we still had on the Impala totaling around 3250. As financing options came back to us, they insisted we had to go with one of their credit unions and would not accept the fact that I've already been pre-approved through my own Credit Union and I wanted to use their financing. Finally we settled at a proposed 300 dollar a month payment including all tax and titles fees and 4600 dollar trade for the Impala. We went in to sign paperwork after being drawn out for 4 and a half hours and our two year old with us the entire time and she never had dinner. We just wanted to get out. As I'm signing the paperwork I start to notice the discrepancies and the fact that the guy is rushing me through without giving me time to read and covering up certain pages. So we find out that the payment is 327, the interest rate is 7%, not the promised 6%, THE CAR IS 2010 NOT 2011, and it has 87k miles, not 80k as we were told! The man who closed our financing also promised us a full detailing which as soon as we tried to schedule he reneged. At the end of paperwork we were told the only document they still needed was Tyler's driver's license and that we were approved and they let us drive home and took the Impala. We have been harassed non-stop since for more documents and threatened that the car would be taken back over voicemails. We have met with management 3 times over the course of the past week trying to unwind the loan and set everything straight after having an extremely bad experience and finding out that the car has several problems they lied to us about. They are now stating that they will push through our loan even without the required documents and saying that our Impala has been sold and since then a tree dropped on it and totaled it. Today they told Ty that they would take the Equinox back and give us what he got for the trade minus a one hundred dollar a day RENTAL FEE for the equinox totally 1300 dollars! They continue to add insult to injury and practice insanely nasty tactics to get as much money as they can instead of calling the situation even and giving us a refund. More
