Worth a visit Body shop team was excellent back in 2015. Knowledgeable and understood things well on different vehicles. Watched a few customer interactions while waiting on my vehicle one day and saw how dumb some people really are. Once a car is wrecked, some people change how they view it psychologically. The vehicle may have been restored to near factory release, but it's still not the same for them. Also, many don't realize how their insurance companies really work. Ask questions of your insurance rep before you go in so you know what to expect. Service riders are nice ladies, but flakey. They can forget things that you tell them unless they note it on the ticket. Majority of the service techs are great. Only downside, they focus too much on the vehicle computers and for the computer to tell them things and forget how to do traditional mechanical diagnosis. Sales are out to do their job and that is to sell vehicles for the company. Many of the sales people are grounded. None are biast towards women. One seems like a male pig, but you can avoid that kind of person and go with the more friendlier people there. Now called Barton Ford. More

Beach Ford Suffolk is shady and disrespectful towards women So I'm in the settlement office at Beach Ford in Suffolk, reading over the buyer's order. The gentleman is not understanding why I'm taking my time re So I'm in the settlement office at Beach Ford in Suffolk, reading over the buyer's order. The gentleman is not understanding why I'm taking my time reading this. I explain to him the obvious reasons, & then that my credit union told me not to sign it until they process the check. I'm already pre-approved for over the amount I'm financing it for and they know this. WELL... Said gentleman then SNATCHES the form out of my hand with an attitude and says that's not how he does things with the credit unions he usually works with. Well, that's not who we're working with. I told him (sternly) he needed to give me that form back to finish reading. He said he would give me a copy, and I then explained I'm just doing what my bank told me to do. Now his attitude has turned from friendly to crappy & accusing me that I'm obviously still considering other options (which I'm not, but maybe I should after this) and is very curt with me, slinging papers about the desk. (Pull the tape of us in his office, Mr. Barton, it's all on video. Maybe you can use it for "training purposes" as the sign in the office stated). I had him fax the buyer's order to the bank as I was instructed to do since they re-open on Monday and then he put it back in the file. I had to remind him of the copy he was going to give me so I could finish reading what he (very rudely) snatched out of my hand, which he ended up giving me. He then asked if I was going to put any money to hold the vehicle until Monday (this is Saturday) I said if I need to, yes, I will, so he asked the GSM and had me write a $500 check to hold the vehicle. Mind you- when I originally came in for final negotiation and fill out this buyers order, the vehicle I'm buying was parked in front of the building and not on the sales lot. I leave the showroom with my 4 year old child, walk outside, and where's the car I just put a $500 check to HOLD at? You got it... sitting pretty on the sales lot on the corner where you turn in to the dealership. I turned right around and asked Matt, the GSM why was it out there and he played it off and said "well it should be out back getting cleaned up and gas in it for you for pick up on Monday." EXACTLY. So why's it out on the lot? (That was moved out there while I was inside doing the paperwork). Can you say SHADY?! So Matt says, "well maybe I'll get a better offer on it." Me:"Um, I don't think so... I've paid to hold it and you need to get it off the sales lot." I'm sure if I had my fiancée or father or any other male with me I would not have been treated this way. Beware to any future female customers. I can hold my own ground, and I went 3 rounds of negotiations with these guys. I knew they'd play games with me since I'm a woman and I was ready for that. I was not prepared to be treated disrespectfully, nor should I have had to. I certainly don't feel part of the "Family" as they like to advertise. I'm sure Mr. Barton wouldn't want any female in his family to be treated that way. Mr. Barton, I'd like for you to be there Monday evening when I come pick up my vehicle.....The one I paid to hold that better be off the sales lot, clean, with a full tank of gas and waiting for ME. Pricing was beyond excellent and the friendliness and professionalism of all departments was the best I have experienced in ages. After buying my vehicle from Duke and never being able to speak with anyone caring or knowledgeable, I came to Beach Ford expecting the same. Totally different experience. I am a lifelong GM driver but apparently Beach Ford cares more about taking care of customers than Chevy. Would reccomend this team to everyone I know. More
