Horrible Experience If I could give this Service Center negative stars I would. I brought my car in because it sounded like I needed a new wheel barring in the front. They were notified that I would be staying there while my car was getting worked on. Arriving at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am appointment, I knew that I was going to be there for awhile. When they finally came out, three hours after arriving, to "confirm" my suspicion of a wheel barring, they had a list of other things that were wrong with my car. None of which were accurate. I then proceeded to wait another 3 hours while they sent someone for the part. I was unhappy with the wait time, but this is my car and I needed it fixed right. After driving my car over the weekend, it started doing the same exact thing. Worrying for my safety as well as my 7 year old child safety, I called the service center back to tell them that what they did to my car was not the solution to the problem. I was told to bring it right in, so I did. They rotated my tires and balanced my wheels. This seemed to fix the problem for a few weeks. My car then started doing the same exact thing, but in a different area (the tire rotation). I took my car to someone who I could rely on. Which is someone who does not normally do warranty work, but decided to because of the problems I was having. Come to find out, I NEVER needed my wheel barring replaced, it was a cupped tire. Any mechanic would have been able to tell if I had a bad wheel barring or cupped tire. This place just "fixed" my car, because I said I had a hunch it was a wheel barring. I am not a mechanic, which is why I brought it to a MECHANIC. They fixed something that did not need to be fixed just to get me in and out and make money off from me instead of finding the problem. This is not something that is okay and does not make people feel safe about taking their cars to this service center. Sincerely, Very Unsatisfied Customer More

Awesome, amazingly friendly and courtesy Jeff in service is the perfect example of what you would hope to find in a high-end service dept. Far away, but I purchased an XT5 in OCt, 2016. I have a love/hate relationship with the vehicle, but that discussion is out of scope for here. My home is in Buff I purchased an XT5 in OCt, 2016. I have a love/hate relationship with the vehicle, but that discussion is out of scope for here. My home is in Buffalo, NY around the corner from a Cadillac only dealer with whom I first went to shop at. In short, I did not not have best experience with a given salesman who is no longer there. He was professional in many ways, but that's another story. I needed to buy an in stock vehicle and on a late Friday afternoon visited Basil Cadillac in Orchard Park, NY. They had a well orgainized display of many XT5s, but I cannot recall if it was the color or given options I wanted that wasn't available. Later that night I went online and found the vehicle I wanted at Basil, Fredonia. Next AM i contacted a sales person and received an excellent trade-in (subject to inspection) and a very competitive price. By 6:00 that night I drove home in my new car. It is not convenient for me to travel 60 miles just to get my car serviced under warranty, and the owners have not honored my request to relocate their business. However, while I have gone to the local dealer for service (always excellent), I usually make the trip to Fredonia because of the personal service and attention I have received, and walk away 99% satisfied. Why not 100%? I am a tough one. It's life. Look up reviews for any hi-end product, restaurant, etc., and there will always be someone who has had a bad experience to counter the many good ones. Stuff happens. I am very appreciative of the attention and service I have received from Busti the service manager, as well as from Jason in sales and Marge, an owner. I selected "Buick" because Cadillac was not an option. Nor were the employees I worked with. More

Terrible Experience It's unfortunate I have to leave this poor review on Basil Fredonia however this is the location that came up for it's sister store Robert Basil Cadil It's unfortunate I have to leave this poor review on Basil Fredonia however this is the location that came up for it's sister store Robert Basil Cadillac. I brought my Cadillac in for service. This ws the worst Service experience I've ever had. I'd have never expected this type of service prior to bringing my vehicle to Robert Basil. I dropped my vehicle off Monday at 8:30a.m. I received a voicemail from my service advisor at 3:06p.m. stating she could not obtain my warranty information from Basil Ford because she couldn't get in touch with anyone there. I called Basil Ford and got through to a service advisor immediately who told me he did not understand why she would have trouble getting through to the service department they had plenty of staff on hand. I called my advisor Beth with the warranty information but could not get through to her. I left a message. By four thirty I was anxious because it was getting late in the day and I had not planned on being without my vehicle overnight and if the service was going to take more than a day I needed a rental which is available through my warranty I called Beth at 4:36, 5:05, and 5:39 to no avail. I called the main line at Robert Basil at 4:38 and spoke to an advisor who stated he would take a message to my service advisor so she could call me. The call never came. I called back at 5:05pm and was transferred to my service advisors voicemail. I called back at 5:09 and for the next 6min 21 sec I explained my situation to another service advisor who would relay the message. I called back at 5:42, and at 5:53 where for 11min 11 sec I explained my situation to another service advisor. When he could not help me I requested to speak to a manager. He took my information and said he would have the manager call me back. After six and no call back I called back at 6:06 selected the prompt for service after which my call was disconnected, the same thing happened at 6:07 and 6:08. At 6:09 I spoke to someone who advised me my advisor was no longer in. He couldn't make heads or tails out of the write up on my vehicle to tell me what the issue was. I asked about the mechanic who worked on the vehicle. He stated they had all gone home for the day and the only thing they were doing in the department at that point was returning vehicles to customers. At 6:48 the supervisor I'd asked to speak with called me back. He apologized for the inconvenience and explained the issues with my vehicle. At this point no one had contacted the warranty company and no work had begun on the vehicle. This morning I called my advisor to check on the status of my vehicle and find out what the plan was for today. Again no response. I called the main number at 9:26a.m. and spoke to an advisor and told her my situation. She stated that it was no wonder that I couldn't get in touch with my service advisor because she quit yesterday. I asked if she could tell me what would happen with my vehicle today she told me that she could not look into it at the moment because she was the only one in the office but she took down my number to call me back. I never heard back from that Advisor. I called back and spoke with someone from service today at 3:30 couldn't tell me what was going on with my vehicle. She to stated she would have to call me back. I attempted to explain why that response was even more frustrating to me. Rather than listen she told me she had nothing to do with my previous service simce she was not that Advisor. She said what she could do was call me back. That call never came. At 4:50 the service manager I spoke with the evening before called to tell me he'd been working with the warranty company all day long to get my repairs approved. I think I had to work too hard deal with to much frustration rate this a good experience. Never again. More
