Service departme All my dealings with the people at Basil Toyota have been positive. Service has always been handled in a timely, professional manner. Service departments will always come up with some additional "scheduled service" that you can choose to do or not, based on your understanding and pocketbook. This is the first and only dealer service department that I have been able to say anything positive about and am willing to go back to with my service issues. More

Just a year and a half later, I recently took it in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was just told that my alignment was already off and needed to be realigned ($100). I was also told that my brake calipers were rusting and needed to be replaced as they were applying uneven wear to my brake pads ($105). The biggest kicker to me was that somehow the plastic tabs on my air housing assembly broke off and was only being held by the metallic tabs. It was $220 for changing out the part alone. I still can't understand how this broke off. It seems like it would require brute force from someone, and since I am rather automobile savvy, I am sure it was not me. I can't possibly blame the tech who worked on my car, but I am little wary on what's happening back in Basil's garage. I politely turned down all the above, but was frustrated that such issues are now present after I bought what I thought was a multi-point inspected pre-certified vehicle. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30AM but walked out the dealership at 1PM, just for an oil change and tire rotation... Overall I do not think I am bringing back the vehicle I purchased from them to service again. More

Outstanding sales staff I was car shopping, and living quite a distance from car dealers, besides not having tons of time to go from car dealer to dealer, I was very impress I was car shopping, and living quite a distance from car dealers, besides not having tons of time to go from car dealer to dealer, I was very impressed with doing my 'dealing' from my phone; These people were more than helpful with my every question, finding me the car and my price. No pressure, just straight up talk. No dealer shenanigans. More

Brian is very kind, I keep returning to Basil Toyota for 12 years for a few reasons. My number one reason is Brian Button in the service department. Brian is very kind, trustworthy and helpful; and he explains what is happening to my vehicle when it is in for service. I also am very satisfied with the warranty of the Certified Toyota vehicles. Tim Secrist was very helpful and patient while I was test driving and choosing a new vehicle. I test drove 6 cars before I found the vehicle for me on the 7th try. Tim was friendly, helpful and very accommodating working with me and my schedule. My one complaint was that when closing the deal, even though I have been a 12 year returning customer, having bought 5 vehicles at the dealership and all serviced there over the past 12 years, I was bumped in line for a more important customer. To make up for this I was given 2 free oil changes. More
First time purchase of a new car at Basil Toyota I did not plan to purchase a new 2016 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid at Basil. I did not want to purchase a car at a dealership I had never visited. Yes I did not plan to purchase a new 2016 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid at Basil. I did not want to purchase a car at a dealership I had never visited. Yesterday, I drove out with this new vehicle. Here is my story. I do not like change. I liked my Toyota dealership. By the internet I had gathered two very good quotes (one from Basil) and I took these quotes to my dealer of many years. He gave me a great price on the retail cost of the car but we could not come to agreement with the value of my trade in. After much time the final quote was not good enough so I decided not to purchase a new car but to keep driving my older vehicle. Later, in response to a call and an internet invitation from Basil, I agreed to an appointment. I informed Basis of the best quote I had been given my my current dealer and said I did not want to waste my time driving all that distance to get a quote similar to the one I turned down. They said, "Please just give us one opportunity." From the moment I walked in the door at Basil it was a fantastic experience. After one hour I was set to drive my new vehicle out of Basil Toyota. The only thing they could have done better is if they had spread rose petals in front of us as we walked in to the dealership! There was no pressure, no last second change of figures; just a give and take of numbers and value of my trade in. They beat the trade in on my vehicle by an additional $1,000 and a net amount of approximately $800+ under what it would have cost me at my regular dealership.I sort of hesitate to let Basil know how good the deal was for me for fear they will call and say they made a mistake. I have purchased a number of new vehicles over the years and I have always left the dealership feeling that I had paid too much for the car. Today, one day after the sale, I feel that I left the victor in this transaction. John More
