Poor Communication/Service from Baxter Service Department I purchased a new 2012 Ford Escape from Baxter Ford on West Dodge in Omaha, Nebraska in 2013. In January 2018, I received a recall notification from F I purchased a new 2012 Ford Escape from Baxter Ford on West Dodge in Omaha, Nebraska in 2013. In January 2018, I received a recall notification from Ford Motor Company concerning the fuel delivery module that needed to be replaced. I made two trips to Baxter in January and was told by Tony, the service manager, both times, that the recall parts were still not available. An appointment was scheduled to repair the recall problem toward the end of January. I arrived for the appointment and was told once again that the parts were not available. I was informed that I would be notified of a future appointment once the parts arrived. I continued to check-in with Baxter on several occasions. Each time I was told that when the parts arrived, my name would pop-up and a recall repair appointment would be made and all would be resolved. During this lengthy waiting period I received correspondence by mail from Ford Motor Company as to why the recall repair had not been completed. I responded to the letter with a phone call to Ford and explained the problems I had been having in getting the recall repair resolved. During the phone call, I was placed on hold, and the Ford representative contacted the Baxter service department manager. The representative informed me that after speaking with Baxter, I would soon be contacted by them to resolve the recall problem. After several months of receiving no contact whatsoever from Baxter, I'm still driving my Ford that needs to be repaired for safe driving. Here it is December 2018 and still nothing from Baxter. Unfortunately, I will now have to locate another dealer who hopefully can make the important recall repair. Furthermore... on one occasion this past summer, while getting an oil change at Baxter, I was told there was a nail in my rear tire and it needed to be repaired. Since I have free flat repair at Discount Tire, I took the car there to have the tire checked. After closely inspecting all tires, they did not find any nails or problems, and to this day I've not had a flat. On one other occasion, about a year ago, I took our vehicle to Baxter to get an oil change. They informed me that I needed a new battery. I took our Escape to Interstate Battery and the battery tested good. I drove the SUV for approximately a year and a half before needing to replace the battery. I have decided to buy a new Ford vehicle in 2019. I can promise you, it will not be at Baxter! More
Over and above I had my mercury mariner hybrid loaded with camping stuff and headed out of town to go camping a couple hours away. Before I could get out of town the vehicle shut down. I waited a few minutes and took off again only to have it shut down again. I headed to Baxter Ford at Village Point and after 3-4 more times of it shutting itself down I made it there. They got me right in and spent about an hour troubleshooting it, replacing a hybrid battery air filter and widening out the parameters of when it would shut down. They even washed my car and sent me on my way for only the cost of the filter ($25). They car has worked flawlessly ever since. Baxter Ford was like an angel to me. More

Thankfully this is I want to first start off by saying it takes either a very poor experience, or an extremely positive one, for me to write a review. Thankfully this is the latter, as I had the best experience working with Baxter Ford for my recent purchase. I had been passively looking at Ford Fusions for over a year, have visited multiple Ford dealerships, but just wasn’t completely confident purchasing from any of them. That’s until I researched and connected with Baxter Ford. I planned a trip to visit with family in Omaha, and had some extra time to myself. I visited the Baxter Ford website, and found a few vehicles that met my requirements. I was fortunate enough when I called and asked to speak to anyone in sales to be connected to the GM, Matt Jacox. Since the intent was for me to drive with my girlfriend to Omaha and drive back my newest acquisition, I had to completely rely on the expertise and more importantly, the honesty of the sales team in describing and answering my questions about this vehicle. The experience of dealing with Matt at Baxter Ford was truly impressive. Upon my arrival, on a very busy Saturday morning, I was greeted immediately and personally introduced to Matt. He sat down with me, to discuss the process and review all of my requirements, to ensure everything was covered. I was then introduced to the Internet Manager – Kevin Putman, who I would be working with on the actual sale of the vehicle. I was able to test drive the desired vehicles, and given detailed information about each one. Kevin’s knowledge of all of the specs, features, and technologies included was top notch. Above all, I was impressed with Kevin’s patience, and detailed explanation for all of my questions, but also his true passion for helping his customer in any way he could. He has a unique quality of being able to develop a strong relationship immediately, and gain trust and confidence in anyone he comes in contact with. Thanks to Kevin’s remarkable knowledge and expertise, I was able to make a comfortable decision to purchase a 2018 Ford Fusion. Since I had such a positive experience working with Kevin, my girlfriend expressed interest in looking at options for a new vehicle purchase. Without having the intention of purchasing, or knowing which vehicle would meet her requirements, Kevin was able to narrow down some options. After test driving 5 additional vehicles, explaining which functionalities best fit her needs, she was able to move forward with her purchase of a 2018 Ford Edge. Kevin was also able to have a remote start installed same day, even though the person who handles these installations was leaving for the day. After working with Kevin on our vehicle options, we sat down with Kevin and Matt to do a final review of our choices. They both wanted to ensure everything was covered, and we didn’t leave any questions unanswered. My girlfriend and I individually met with the Sales Manager - Chip Kinder, who discussed our finance and warranty options with us. Chip was thorough in explaining everything related to financing, and warranty. He made sure we felt comfortable with our purchase, and had a detailed understanding of everything outlined in our finance agreements. The overall experience was great. Each team member we interacted with was a pleasure to work with. Baxter Ford has a seamless system in place, and makes the daunting process of purchasing a vehicle, a simple and pleasurable experience. All my future purchases will be with Baxter Ford. I highly recommend you visiting Baxter Ford, and see for yourself what sets them apart from the competition. More
