Our car buying experience at Baxter Toyota was excellent. Michael Ficenec was our sales person and he was great to work with. Initially we were thinking of purchasing a RAV 4 hybrid and were able to take a Michael Ficenec was our sales person and he was great to work with. Initially we were thinking of purchasing a RAV 4 hybrid and were able to take a test drive, but also tried the Venza hybrid and purchased it instead. Michael was so helpful! He answered all of our questions and we never felt any pressure — he wanted to make sure we were choosing the car that best suited our needs. He kept us informed throughout the process. We actually were able to buy our Venza ahead of the projected date of availability and are very pleased with it. Michael spent time to “walk us through” the Venza, and encouraged us to call with any questions or concerns as we get used to our new car. We had been in to LaVista Toyota back in December and had talked with Matt Phillips about a new truck. He took the time to visit with us and answer all the questions we had at the time even though he knew we talked with Matt Phillips about a new truck. He took the time to visit with us and answer all the questions we had at the time even though he knew we were just looking and not actually purchasing at that time. Since our initial meeting we had went to another Toyota dealership in the Omaha Metro area to look at another vehicle. The experience there had been nothing like our experience with Matt at LaVista Toyota. The staff were unable to answer questions without running to others to ask questions which seemed to take for ever for them to get back to us. Overall, we were not impressed at all. We then went back to LaVista Toyota and had specifically asked to speak with Matt again. He had been very personable, up front with us and made our visit very relaxing and enjoyable. The fact that he had been up front and able to answer our questions right away, provide input on options for the truck we were looking at were greatly appreciated. He even stayed late that night to complete a walk thru of our new Tacoma truck. We highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a new Toyota vehicle to speak with Matt a LaVista Toyota.
