Waste of a Trip We traveled from Conway, SC to test drive a used Honda Accord. From an earlier phone conversation with "Damien" we were told the vehicle would be avai We traveled from Conway, SC to test drive a used Honda Accord. From an earlier phone conversation with "Damien" we were told the vehicle would be available for a test drive and to see the sales manager when we got there. Upon arrival we were directed to another sales person who said he was going to do the test drive with us. After the test drive which ended with no events, we asked to clarify a few items before discussing sales: 1) since there was no owners manual with the car would they provide us with one, 2) the CarFax indicated there was a damage report but no indication of the damage type or source of information, so we wanted to know more and was told the previous owner would have to be contacted, 3) the vehicle had an open national safety recall that we were asking to be completed before taking possession of the car, 4) the CarFax reported a lien on the title and we wanted to know if the lien was satisfied. The salesperson who went with us at first made excuses about the owners manual and the damage report and made no conciliatory gestures about any of the items we pointed out. Instead he excused himself to go talk to the sales manager and returned about ten minutes later announcing in a non-sympathetic gesture that the car had just been sold (purportedly the sales manager was selling it to his daughter). Days later we checked the dealers website and discovered the car was still listed. We also received a call shortly thereafter from "Damien" and confirmed the car was still available. After explaining our experience with our trip there, "Damien" indicated he would ask the co-owner to give us a call to discuss our issues. The co-owner never called. This dealership has many faults .I will not deal with them again no matter what they offer. More
