I sincerely did not want to have to leave a bad review about the Ford Dealership's service department but I'm hoping that my mistreatment will be rectified. I spent upwards to almost $4,000 in repairs to about the Ford Dealership's service department but I'm hoping that my mistreatment will be rectified. I spent upwards to almost $4,000 in repairs to fix my A/C and overheating issues among many other items on my truck. I do have an older Explorer but figured who better than to make these repairs than the Ford Dealership? The first appointment I brung my truck in, they had it for a week and as soon as I picked it up it was acting up. They had me bring it right back in the next day and discovered one of the repairs they just made failed so they placed me in a loaner and sent me home. I was more than gracious that they provided me with a vehicle. After another week I picked up my truck and sure enough the issues still persisted. I had to bring it back a 3rd time, they once again placed me in a loaner(which I was so thankful for) and kept my truck an entire week. This time, they stated they "could not duplicate the issue." I was perplexed and disappointed because I knew that meant I would have to bring my truck back in. When June hit and the temperatures started to rise, my truck started overheating every time I turned the A/C on plus the A/C barely blew cold air. This time, I figured I would start dealing with the service manager LUCAS RYAN since I keep having issues, and every time they discover something new that tacks on more money. I was even charged an additional inspection fee of $118 2 weeks after the first set of repairs were made for the same issue. At first, my dealings with the Service Manager LUCAS RYAN were very pleasant and I was confident that he would take care of me. I informed him that my truck is having literally all of the same issues as it had before and I cannot bring it in without being accommodated with a loaner. He kept telling me I could bring it but he didn't have a loaner "Right Now" to provide me so I continually have been waiting over a month for one to become available so I could drop my truck off.Finally, after threatening to file a formal complaint, LUCAS RYAN FINALLY decides to inform me that he will be unable to provide me a loaner at all and after paying over $3,500 in repairs and bringing my truck back to this establishment multiple times, I must pay for a rental car myself in order for the service department to check my truck. How is this fair to me? This will be the 4th return visit and after paying for service and repairs that I did not receive I'm being forced to pay even more to have the Ford Dealership make it right? They have loaners, they just don't have one for me because I am not an important enough customer to them. I have an old 2006 Ford Explorer and I'm sure they feel like it's my fault the truck has so many issues. If my truck was too old to be repaired, they should have informed me instead of taking my money. Whats sad is, Although I paid a lot of money for repairs that they should make right, I don't even want to bring the truck back up to their company.This is so stressful and beyond wrong.Yes the service manager LUCAS RYAN said I can bring it in however he never informed me until today that he would not be able to accommodate me with a loaner vehicle at all and I have been waiting so patiently. Hopefully, something can be done to accommodate me for the stress this has caused and the money that I have wasted. I am the daughter of veterans who happened to purchase their vehicle brand new from this dealership.This is not how you treat people. More
If you buy a vehicle at this dealership be prepared to spend 3.5 to over 5 hours buying a car that should take less than 1 hour. We sat in a salesman’s office for over 1 1/2 hours with absolutely no one letting us know what was going on or even asking if we needed anything. Our total time we were there was 5 hrs and 10 minutes. I have purchased many Ford’s for my fleet and this was unacceptable. I urge anyone buying a Ford to go to a neighboring dealership in Chesapeake or Elizabeth City. More
Terrible service all around. It was nearly impossible to get an service appointment for some reason most of the people working there are unable to make a service appointment for you they all have some excus get an service appointment for some reason most of the people working there are unable to make a service appointment for you they all have some excuse as to why they can't. When I was finally able to get an appointment scheduled and asked about the cost I was told she couldn't give me the cost that I would have to ask someone in the service department and hung up on me. I called back and got another person from the service department and they could not give me an exact price for their Works Package. They did give me their best guess which was over $20.00. I attempted once again to get the cost of the service I was scheduled for. This young lady promised me that someone from the service department would be giving me a call back with that info. Do you think that happened???? NO More
J. Slack was amazing, I purchased a 2018 Ford explorer back in june2021. He was with me every step of the way, explaining the process and making sure I understood. Made an appointment for service, they promised it by 1230, at that time I made arrangements to get there and it had not even been started. Had to arrange a ride back to work and back to dealer later. Got an email following saying I missed my appointment. They did order a part, set up another appointment, my vehicle's problem disappeared and I called to ask advisor's advice, fix it, wait, they did not return call and I canceled the appointment to free up a spot for them. Advisor texted me in the evening telling me I missed my appointment and I told her I called, requested a call back for advice. She was to talk with tech in the morning but no call back. And 3 days later got another missed appointment notice. Highly disappointed in this dealership. More
Beach Ford will simply waste your time. Twice I have been to this dealership, with appointments, to test drive a truck. Both times it was unavailable (inspection / maintenance) and the rep assured me t been to this dealership, with appointments, to test drive a truck. Never did. Twice I went to the dealership checkbook in hand, not again with the lack of respect they show for my time. More
We went to Beach Ford last Saturday to look at a used car. The car was a 2002 Toyota Highlander with one owner. It was a clean car for almost being twenty years old. The salesman was great, probably too great, because he did advise us it was sold as is. But then he turned around and told us that if anything came up or went wrong with the vehicle within the first week or two that they would make things right. Well, we made a mistake and took him for his word. We bought the car that afternoon and drive it home. They very next day we went for a drive and the check engine light came on. I immediately contacted him and was told to bring it up and they would put it on the computer. Which we did. He comes back and explains it’s some kind of a small leak and if the light doesn’t go off within a day or two to contact him back and he would see how the manager wants to handle it and that they would probably have it sent to a Toyota service center for repair. Well one day went by with no change and I sent him a message with no answer. Day two came and I messaged him again. This time he finally answers that his manager said it was just a small leak that won’t affect anything and they aren’t going to fix it. This is not what we were originally told to get the sale. I contacted back to have the manager call me to with no luck so far. If we didn’t buy this vehicle and someone else came in the next day the light would’ve been on and they would’ve been forced to fix it. After originally buying the car I would’ve highly recommended them but afterwards and the way we were lied to I would strongly never ever recommend Beach Ford! More

Gary had no idea who I was or the model of the car; this is not Gary’s fault but he did not make the situation better. I brought my 2015 Fusion in for the door latch spring recall and to have my Ecoboost checked out. The check-in was great and the service was completed in a timely manner. My Ecoboost is working properl recall and to have my Ecoboost checked out. The check-in was great and the service was completed in a timely manner. My Ecoboost is working properly again. However, when I arrived to pick my car up, I was told it would be "right up." After 15 minutes, I contact the service representative again and he said he would go check on it. It was over 30 minutes before they finally brought my car up. More
