Great Service! I will say I had great service. Service Manager Lucas and Katy were outstanding employees and kept me up to speed on what was going on with my vehicle I will say I had great service. Battery and Alternator My car had been in for services (spark plugs and 3 coils) the week prior to it cutting off in the middle of an intersection a week later. Not knowing My car had been in for services (spark plugs and 3 coils) the week prior to it cutting off in the middle of an intersection a week later. Not knowing what the problem was, due to previous warrantied work, i had it towed to Beach Ford. I have been a loyal customer for 13 years with my Escape. They called and told me it would be $1200 for an alternator and battery. I challenged that price and said a battery is $100 at Auto Zone and they put it in free. I found out that an alternator is $189 plus tax and typically takes an hour to put in. When I challenged the price the day before, they "got it down" to $900. I told them to do the work as I would have to have the car towed to another place to have it done. Retired and on a fixed income, $1018 last week and $900 this week...I will NEVER take my car back there for anything. Disappointed, frustrated and xxxx mad. More
No time for service Made a 7:30am appointment for a computer diagnostic. By 3:00pm, had not heard a word. Stopped by to pick up the vehicle. It had not been worked on. Waited an additional 90 minutes for them to rush through a very inefficient evaluation. Several connections under the hood were not connected. I do not trust the results of the test and would never, under any circumstances, trust the safety of my family to any service they would perform. I would go out of the area for authorized service. Great experience Scheduled state inspection, oil change, tire rotation, etc. Dealt with Mallory. Was in and out in 1 1/2 hrs. No surprises and all with smiling faces! Repair estimate I originally delivered my 1995 F1 50 pick up truck to Beach Ford for service on a transmission that was still under warranty - the truck was shiftin I originally delivered my 1995 F1 50 pick up truck to Beach Ford for service on a transmission that was still under warranty - the truck was shifting too hard. After some time, I was advised that my truck may not have a transmission issue and it may be that the PCM or the power control module needed to be replaced. Additionally, I was told that the repair price was $1599. With some mechanical repair experience myself, I felt that the $1599 price was way too high. Following the removal of my truck from Beach Ford service, I Purchased the same type of remanufactured PCM that the Ford dealership would purchase, from O’Reilly auto parts. Following the removal of my truck from Beach Ford service, I Purchased the same type of remanufactured PCM that the Ford dealership would have purchased, from O’Reilly auto parts. My cost was a mere $140. And that was with a one year warranty on the part. The PCM I Purchased from O’Reilly auto parts came already programmed from the factory. Beach Ford was charging me an additional $140 to program the PCM they were purchasing. With minor effort, and about after 30 minutes, I was able to switch out the PCM in my truck and now my truck runs fine. Just wanted to report the vast difference in pricing on this repair. More

Service on my F150 I bought my F150 King Ranch at Beach Ford and have had ALL my service done on it for the last 6 years there. I received an email that it was due for I bought my F150 King Ranch at Beach Ford and have had ALL my service done on it for the last 6 years there. I received an email that it was due for an oil change and to call or go online and make an appointment. I went online and it said there were no appointments available so I called the service department. They told me the first appointment available wasn't for 2 WEEKS! I asked if they had an Express Service for oil changes and was told NO. I think this is ridiculous so I took it to Tread Quarters and had my Oil changed and Coolant changed and flushed with no appointment and in 2 1/2 hours. Beach Ford has lost my business. More
