Not a good experience at all, I would not recommend going to Beaman for a used car unless you do not care to overpay. First off, I found a Jeep Wrangler online and went to the dealership to inquire. Their pr to Beaman for a used car unless you do not care to overpay. First off, I found a Jeep Wrangler online and went to the dealership to inquire. Their price listed was at fair market value as it was a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with 96k miles for a little over 19k. They did a soft pull of my credit and worked up a sheet showing terms of payments for up to 72 months conveniently leaving out the % APR and also adding their extra fees including $1895 for a “Nano Cure” detail job now making the original principal 24,800 on the finance. So with a down payment of 4,000 and payments of 421 for 72 months the final price would be 34,312 for a Jeep that is valued at around 18k. They would not let me test drive that day before it had been to the shop so I left and went on to find different options for finance. So after being in the shop for a week and them giving me no information on what was being worked on it was finally able to be test driven so I went by to drive it and a salesman got in the Jeep with me and let me drive it around the block only. I wanted to get it up to speed so I could see if it had any issues with alignment or suspension and the guy told me I could step on it and go as fast as I wanted to ,mind you this is Church Street to Middle Tennessee to Broad back to Church, so top speed I could get was 55 if there is no traffic and that wasn't the case. So he assured me that this is proof it doesn't have a “Death Wobble”, lol must've heard the lingo around the shop cause I didn't think he knew what that actually is. Also I noticed a large crack on the windshield and he told me it was from when they were driving it back from Florida (so that would explain the difference in the mileage from the carfax when they got the Jeep 2 weeks before at 94,700 miles to the 96,000 miles it has now that someone took it to Florida seeing that the previous owner was from Goodlettesville). So now comes the day it's completely ready and I'm ready to make an offer. They were still trying to push the financing and I told them no need I can pay cash but I wanted to make an offer without all the markups and an out the door price of the 19k (so all they would be out was the cost of taxes). That's when the Sales Manager James laughed at my offer and said the prices were non-negotiable. I offered their price and was willing to even pay the taxes and fees but they refused and wanted me to still finance it and that I could make an early pay off but the price would still be 25,000 with all their extra markups (as well as inflated taxes because by my calculations they had taxes at 8.5% when they are 7%), so I walked. Also come to find out they ran a hard inquiry on my credit before I even got there that morning as well as their lenders so I had 3 hard inquiries on my credit report that were unauthorized and unnecessary because I wasn't even going to use their financing. Bad business. I would not recommend. More
We went in to the dealer to look at a truck that I seen online. Salesman was good but then we went to get financed and the problems started. The salesman was told to only pull and send credit to 2 differen online. Salesman was good but then we went to get financed and the problems started. The salesman was told to only pull and send credit to 2 different banks. I was told that was not a problem. Then as me and my wife sat there we noticed do to credit monitoring that our credit in shear minutes had been sent and pulled over 6 times. I approached the finance desk and told them to stop. We expressed our concerns with the finance guy Jeff and the salesman and told them to stop we were done and not going to proceed with purchase and we left. The next morning we were contacted by the salesman that stated that he spoke with finance manager and he asked "give us another chance the the finance guy Jeff submitted it wrong." He should not be working if he don't know how to submit properly. They told me again they could get the terms that I needed. I told them no. I then started to get credit monitoring notification that beaman was checking credit again even after they were told to stop. Not a good practice! Don't use beaman if you care about credit. Very displeased More
Terrible dealership, avoid at all costs. I have been waiting for 2 months for a shock absorber for my truck that should be covered under warranty. I filled out the review they sent me and th I have been waiting for 2 months for a shock absorber for my truck that should be covered under warranty. I filled out the review they sent me and the manager responded asking me for my contact information. I sent it and he never made any attempt to call me, been 3 weeks now. Looks like it is bad from the top down. I will never go back there I will make the drive to Columbia its a much better dealership. I bought my truck from Columbia because of how bad Beaman was. I thought maybe they could handle a shock absorber I guess I was wrong. More
I had my car towed to Beaman on April 24, 2024 because it was running hot. Beaman didn't get the car repaired until May 14, 2024. First they told told me they were waiting on authorization from the warranty was running hot. Beaman didn't get the car repaired until May 14, 2024. First they told told me they were waiting on authorization from the warranty company. So, I called the warranty company only to find out the request was submitted on May 7, 2024. After the request was approved, they said we are short staffed, our technicians didn't report to work. We promise to have the car ready by Tuesday May 7th, only for that date to come and go. Then I was told we're going to have our best technician repair the car, that way we'll know it's fixed correctly because I know you're driving it back to Indiana. The car was finally ready on May 14th, so it was picked up the next day May 15th. I arrived in Tennessee on Saturday May 18th to drive the car back to Indiana. Sunday morning, May 19th, I heading home only for the car to make it 145 miles before it ran hot. I was stuck on the highway, hot and sweating waiting on roadside assistance. All I can say is that I'm very upset and disappointed in the service provided at Beaman. I would have given a 0 rating if I could. More

Bought a 2024 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve with all the bells and whistles back in late November 2023. Super excited as this is the most expensive and luxurious vehicle I’ve ever owned. Picked up and immed bells and whistles back in late November 2023. Super excited as this is the most expensive and luxurious vehicle I’ve ever owned. Picked up and immediately noticed a warning light on the dashboard requiring service for the Drive Assistance with 6 alerts, Hands-Free Highway Assist, Active Lane Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Breaking, Traffic Sign Recognition and Drowsy Driver Detection all requiring service. At the time my Grand Cherokee had 24 miles on the odometer. Took it back the next day and the nightmare begun. They could not find a fix all though they are well aware of some of their vehicles having the problem. Talked to the sales manager and he told me to drive it about 500 miles, usually they fix themselves. I did and did research, called different sources and found out this is a problem Chrysler is trying to find a fix. Took the vehicle in to the dealership at over 1500 on the odometer and they reset the module. Next day same problem. Took the vehicle back for the same problem and they replaced the module. Two days later same problem. Jeep now has 4900 miles on it now and same problem but service department insists there is no issue and can’t replicate the problem. Today 13 May I picked up my Jeep hoping issues are fixed after an oil change and tire rotation that was not requested and more than 20 days without a vehicle with no rental or loaner. I understand some computer or mechanical issues are hard to fix but the treatment I received today from the service department representative was disrespectful and honestly frustrating. So much so that I will never buy or recommend Beaman Dodge Chrysler in Murfreesboro to anyone. The unprofessional attitude, customer service unawareness and disrespect is rarely encountered in a business this size. I am now hoping that by luck this issue somehow fixes itself as I spent over 70k on a dream retirement vehicle that has become a nightmare. Update 1530hrs on 13 May 2024 same issue when starting vehicle, so frustrating. Shut off, waited two minutes and restarted working fine again. Thanks Beaman I’m stuck with a lemon. More
Does not offer OEM repair/warranty Silver Rock services. Technicians claim that installing an exhaust is "too modified" to test out the MAP sensor in the intake. I spent over 4 hours in their shop, with Technicians claim that installing an exhaust is "too modified" to test out the MAP sensor in the intake. I spent over 4 hours in their shop, with an appointment, and the only thing they said is "I'll ask someone who knows something more about this and get back to you" (06 APR 2024) ... just needed my MAP sensor looked at. i get automated texts thanking me for choosing them, and asking for me to sign up to their VIP program, but i'm still wondering when they'll get back to me about diagnosing the problem with my car. Thank goodness they didn't make me pay for wasting my entire morning. I chose this shop because they came recommended as a certified SilverRock repair facility. The staff was polite More
I made an appointment to purchase a car from the dealership. 7 hour round trip I had been in communication with them to confirm I was enroute they waited until I was 45 minutes away and Steve called dealership. 7 hour round trip I had been in communication with them to confirm I was enroute they waited until I was 45 minutes away and Steve called to inform me that it sold, I was obviously upset since I was scheduled to purchase the vehicle. I voiced my opinion of the situation and he was so insincere about his apology and obviously lying. So I hung up and immediately went online and found the car at another dealership $4,000 higher. I called them sure enough it’s the very same car. So I asked if it was available for purchase and sure enough yes it was. So I ask is it on your lot right this moment….. nope it was still on the lot at Beaman so needless to say a bunch of liars and treat customers like trash! So I went to Wyatt Johnson in Clarksville and purchased a brand new Forerunner for only $7,000 more for a brand new one and they were amazing! And I paid cash for the remaining amount after trade in! Your loss Steve! Tried to pull a switch on me not a fool!! More

Beyond frustrating experience! BAD BUSINESS! Strung me along and then sold the car out from under me. Sales associate: Allend. Worked with Allend over the phone to move forward BAD BUSINESS! Strung me along and then sold the car out from under me. Sales associate: Allend. Worked with Allend over the phone to move forward with purchasing a RAM1500. I live in Atlanta and was looking to purchase this truck in Tennessee. Allend was very hard to keep in contact with, I had to follow up with him most times, but worked with me through the financing applications, my friend checking out the vehicle in person, a temporary verbal hold confirmation on the vehicle, and promised several times that the manager was about to reach out to work with me on a remote deposit to secure the vehicle. I was ready to drive up for two different days to purchase the vehicle but the dilemma was that there was a part still being replaced so did not want to make multiple trips up. He lied about the hold and who knows what else. Not sure if he was out of touch with reality, trying to string me along, or running a parallel path and there was bad communication with some other sales manager but the vehicle was sold out from under me after two and a half days of discussion with Allend and his finance person Samantha. This was after leading me to believe that I essentially had the vehicle and was waiting on a deposit process with finance. Frustrating trust (to an extent) a human/process and expect an honest dealing and get lied to after skipping various scheduled activities to try to make this purchase. I don't get upset often but this was absolutely unacceptable and scummy. Probably best I didn't end up following through with their business if that's how they do it. More
