WAY too pushy I went in to just look at what camaro's they had to offer, and maybe get an appraisal on my 2012 F150. Their price on the their camaro's didn't meet I went in to just look at what camaro's they had to offer, and maybe get an appraisal on my 2012 F150. Their price on the their camaro's didn't meet my satisfaction. And the price they offered for my 2012 F150 WASN'T EVEN CLOSE to what it was worth. I was offered a substantial amount more for my truck at other dealers, and they weren't willing to budge. The sales person had me working with the sales manager because she knew I wasn't going to make a deal with anything on the spot. After i indicated I wanted to talk to my spouse about the direction we wanted to go, they openly indicated that they were worried about not being able to make a sale with me after if I left. The sales manager openly indicated, I think as a sales tactic, that they didn't really need by business because they were doing so well and because they make such great offers on vehicles. I was confused because it made me as the person looking to buy feel as if what i wanted really didn't matter. They were VERY PUSHY, and VERY ARROGANT. Did i mention when i walked thru looking at their cars that they wouldn't even give me the time of day to talk to me after 20 minutes of looking around. Looking in the windows of the building they weren't busy. I practically had to go in to talk to get someone's attention (unusual compared to my experiences with other dealers that want to make a sale). Way to arrogant. Way to pushy. I will not even go there again. Four years ago when i bought my Chevy Equinox I would have said something totally different. Needless to say, I opted for a 2013 camaro from another dealer that talked to me and worked with me as needed to make a deal. If Beardmore wasn't so pushy to make a deal on the spot, and was willing to actually deal, i would have had much more respect and would have been willing to deal with them. More
Back at the end of December, 2012, my fiance and I came into Beardmore interested in a new work truck for my fiance. He had purchased his current truck through Beardmore and had a wonderful experience, so into Beardmore interested in a new work truck for my fiance. He had purchased his current truck through Beardmore and had a wonderful experience, so we automatically came back to give Beardmore our business again. We began working with Terrance on finding a suitable vehicle for my fiance's needs. During our time that day, I also test drove a couple of vehicles, because I've been interested in upgrading to an SUV, so we began discussing that as well. We unfortunately could not work out a deal that day, because the price just wasn't right for us. We left Terrance as friends, and let him know that we would try back in a year and see if we could work out a deal then. A week later, Terrance contacted my fiance to let him know that he thought he had worked out a deal to get both of us into new cars (An Equinox and a Silverado). My fiance went over the details over the phone, and they were no where near the numbers we had specifically told him in our previous visit. Again, things were left as friends. One week ago (I am going to estimate around January 16th, 2013), Terrance called my fiance again, and said that he had an offer in our price range. My range was no more than $325, Jeremy's was no more than $365. We both began to get really excited, that maybe there would be a deal and we could both get into new cars. But again, Terrance let us down. My number was at $360, well over the $325 that I had repeatedly told him was my final number. At this point, my fiance and I were starting to get frustrated with being strung along, so we explained to Terrance that we weren't budging on our numbers and not to call us back unless he had a definite change in what could happen. Again, we were disappointed, but knew we needed to stay firm on our payments. You can imagine my surprise when Terrance called this week, letting us know that he had worked on a solution so we could both get into a new vehicle. He had mine at $346, and Jeremy's at $340. Jeremy got the VIN numbers from Terrance and let him know that we would seriously consider this option after we checked out our insurance cost. We both called our insurance agents and had a nice surprise that our insurance rates would go down with these new vehicles. It was a great surprise, and it finally felt like things were coming together. We called Terrance the next day and let him know we would like to move forward with the Equinox lease, and my fiance was going to be thinking about the Silverado for another day or so. As I said before, it felt like everything was coming together. So on January 23rd, 2013, after giving all of the payoff information on my vehicle to Terrance, he said he had a deal for us on the Equinox. My fiance came down after work to test drive the Silverado he was thinking about leasing, and I came down after I got off work to sign all the paperwork on my new car. I've been working 2 jobs, and going to school full time, so the idea of having a brand new vehicle as a bit of a reward to myself was amazing. We sat for a couple hours while the paperwork was getting prepared, not a big deal for the end result. at about 8:30pm, we began signing all of our paperwork with Robbie. I looked every piece of paper over, there was nothing out of the ordinary, it all looked like standard vehicle purchase paperwork. I will preface my next paragraph with this. At no point during the signing process did Robbie tell us that our deal was contingent on bank approval. Since this was something that was going on for the past few weeks AND we had already given Terrance all of our information, I was under the impression, that everything with the bank, interest rate etc. had been dealt with. Imagine my surprise on January 24th when I received a phone call from Terrance explaining to me that my payment was no longer going to be the $346, but $446 because the bank did not approve the interest rate that was on all of my paperwork. Terrance said that this was something that was still being worked on, and he would get back to us to let us know what was going on. I waited about a half hour and decided to talk to a manager. I spoke with Kevin this afternoon. I explained who I was and asked a lot of questions about why this scenario was never explained to us. Kevin said "I was not working yesterday, so I'm not sure why that wasn't told to you. There is a piece of paper that you sign off on that tells you the offer is contingent on bank approval." If it was in any of the paperwork, it wasn't clearly marked, and again, Robbie and Terrance had about 2 1/2 hours that they could have mentioned it to us. My fiance and I are still incredibly angry about the situation. What I would really like to know is why was I not told that my payment would be contingent on bank approval? Neither Robbie or Terrance mentioned this fact during the negotiating process and the paperwork. Secondly, why would you let a person take a vehicle that is not even approved by the bank yet? And why, again, would you not tell your customers that they haven't been fully approved by the bank yet? Chad Anderson emailed me on January 24th to try to resolve the situation, and somehow the monthly payment would have magically dropped from $446 per month to $298 per month. I did not trust the integrity of the deal, and now have nothing but negative things to say in regards to this dealership. In fact, a friend of mine and her husband just went to Beardmore Subaru and were completely insulted by the sales staff when they tried to negotiate on the price. This company has some horrible business practices, and I advise anyone to steer clear. More
We bought a 2013 Chevy Traverse 1LT from Scotty and we can't say enough about the service we received. Beardmore didn't have the Traverse we wanted in stock so Scotty went to work looking for the one that can't say enough about the service we received. Beardmore didn't have the Traverse we wanted in stock so Scotty went to work looking for the one that we wanted. He was able to locate and deliver a Traverse exceeding our expectations and on delivery time promised. We would also like to thank Misty and Dan from the internet services department for getting us set up on the right path before we ever set foot in the dealership. Great service from top to bottom! We look forward to getting our Traverse serviced at Beardmore. We highly recommend Beardmore! More
My husband and I have bought three vehicles from this dealer now and love working with the staff. Terrence is always helpful and patient as I am a very indecisive person. He never rushes us and helps us dealer now and love working with the staff. Terrence is always helpful and patient as I am a very indecisive person. He never rushes us and helps us figure out what will work best for what we are looking for. He always takes time out to talk to us when we stop in for oil changes and asks how we are doing. He's not just another salesman but more like family the way he takes care of his customers. More
I went to lease a car from them, and somehow in the paperwork an extra $1000 dollars accidently got added onto the bill. They took care of it, after i pointed it out to them. I did not like the car an paperwork an extra $1000 dollars accidently got added onto the bill. They took care of it, after i pointed it out to them. I did not like the car and ended up returning it within a month. They worked with me to get a car i wanted and to purchase it (not lease). They said the car was paid in full (leased), meaning i did not owe anything on it. I had put down a decent down payment and was 1 month ahead on my payments (leased). I was very excited about my new car and got the coverages that they said i would need. I believed their words and have now come to the realization that they snuck a fee of $3,500 dollars that i owed onto my current car, saying i owed that from the one i leased. After discussing with someone about the extra protection plans i got with my car, i was informed i did not need them by this person (another sales person, cant reveal who or where *sorry*) I was told that the ammount i would have to pay to plate my new car, would come to a total of $780.00. The sales tax i would not have to pay because it was included in the loan. When i went to the dmv. All of my paperwork was filled out wrong. (second time now) They wanted me to pay the sales tax on the car i leased (Beardmore had marked it down that it was not leased). Then i had to pay the sales tax on the car that i just purchased, and then, i had to pay the rest of the fees; plating and ect. So, this car that was sold to me for $21,000. Now came to a total of almost $29,000. (due to a few hidden fees and extra things they said i needed) So, what i guess i am saying is, if this is your first time going to a dealership (like me). To purchase a car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go somewhere else. Dont get me wrong... I understand everyone has to make money, But... to deliberately lie about it, and then tell you something they said they would do, and don't do it. Is not very good business ethics. More
I specifically bought a used car with a warranty. When I had an issue that required the warranty, it turns out the car they sold me had no warranty at all registered with Chevrolet. I recently took my c had an issue that required the warranty, it turns out the car they sold me had no warranty at all registered with Chevrolet. I recently took my car back to Beardmore to be reimbursed for work I had done to fix a heating issue that has now been recalled with Chevy. I received a letter from Chevy stating full reimbursement for the issue. When I got to Beardmore, the service dept told me I probably won't get my money back but he would call me back in a week. It's been 3 weeks, have not heard a thing. Bottom line- I would never recommend Beardmore except to steer clear of it. More
I have purchased two vehicles from Beardmore Chevrolet and can't say enough about them. The manager gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade and still negotiated a fair price. Finance director got me a and can't say enough about them. The manager gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade and still negotiated a fair price. Finance director got me a loan rate that my credit union and insurance co. couldn't match. And the sales consultant was very thorough in explaining everything about the vehicle I bought. He took the time to do all of this after the deal was made. Very Impressive! Thanks for making it an easy transaction. More
