Our salesperson was Catherine Smith, if she was the only person we dealt with at beardmore Subaru, there wouldn’t be enough stars on the scale to rate her high enough. She was amazing from first contact til the time we drove away in my wife’s new car. She walked through everything on the vehicle with my wife over FaceTime and explained everything in detail to her. She actually focused on my wife (who is the primary driver of this vehicle) and not me. Then we get to the “sales manager” Dave Schoonover. I should have known he wasn’t an honest broker when he started talking about his “wholesale buyer” in negotiating the lowball trade in value on our extremely low Mileage and clean trade in. He was very condescending and kept shooting down every counter offer. I told my wife and the salesperson exactly what they ended up putting it on the lot for because they are going to keep it. Guess what, I was only $100 off in my estimation. We are going to be in the market in a few months again for another vehicle, but because of the actions of the sales manager, we will probably be shopping somewhere else where they deal fairly. DJ, the finance manager was also amassing, he got us in and out in record time and was not pushy at all (which is a rarity anymore in F&I). 5/5 star experience in his office! More
I was Working with Jerry and was ready to drop over $37000 on a Subaru Outback. Asked for the manager (I think his name was Dave) to come and speak to me about the processing fee. If you are a masochist, and if you crave abuse. ..buy from Beardmore. Here's why: (1) they misrepresent their vehicles (2) they promise services that they don't provide (3) they don't respond, in an ..buy from Beardmore. Here's why: (1) they misrepresent their vehicles (2) they promise services that they don't provide (3) they don't respond, in any way, to complaints and service issues. I purchased a "new" Crosstrek. However, when I went picked it up and finalized the deal, the odometer showed several hundred miles. I later found a receipt in the glovebox that showed that my "new" car had been used as a loaner. The salesman gave me a tour of the "wonderful" service department and told me that they would provide me with a courtesy vehicle when I brought my car in for service. Well, when I brought my car in for service, I found that those courtesy cars don't exist. But wait; there's more: I took the car in for an oil/filter at 6 months. I asked how long it would take. The young woman who checked me in said she didn't know and escorted me to the waiting room. THREE AND ONE-HALF HOURS later, they told me my car was ready. I'll repeat that: 3 1/2 hours. And I had an appointment. Finally, at check-in, they asked me if I would like my car washed. I said yes. But...you guessed it...when my car was finally ready...it was still dirty. I tracked down someone and asked why it wasn't washed. His reply: 'we're really busy, but if you want to wait, we'll try to get to it..but might be a couple hours. When I got home, I called the dealership for an explaination. Nothing! I sent a polite emailed to the dealership. Nothing! So, if you want to get screwed around, if you don't have a life, and if you love to deal with low-lifes, by all means, buy a car from Beardmore Subaru. By the way, I value my time, and I don't deal with bottom-feeders, so I never went back. All subsequent services were done by another dealership, And when my lease ended, guess who did not sell me another car. One final note: I've had my Crosstrek service time at that other, customer-conscious dealership six time. Five times for oil/filter/engine check/tire rotation. And once for an electrical-system recall. The wait time for the recall was less than an hour. The routine oil/filter wait time has always been less than 20 minutes. More
Everyone at Beardmore made locating a new Outback after my Outback was totalled in a hail storm. With their online help and quick response I had a new car within four days of the start of my insurance cla my Outback was totalled in a hail storm. Would highly recommend Beardmore. More
My husband and I have had 3 Subarus and love them. We went with the intent to purchase another outback. We have never bought from Beardmore before. We bought a 2019 Outback and paid the asking price after a 10 min test drive. When we went to buy it they handed us one key. We asked about a second they said a firm NO. We told them of our disappointment and they shrugged and said we can sell this to anyone. When we tried to purchase a second key they quoted $340. Then at signing they added charges for filing DMV paperwork after bragging that there are no hidden charges. So disappointing. Really bad. More
