I bought a used vehicle from Beaty for the second time… I should have known better, as I had a bad experience the first time, but I dismissed my better judgement as it had been a Beaty for the second time… I should have known better, as I had a bad experience the first time, but I dismissed my better judgement as it had been a number of years since, and the salesman and people I dealt with in the past had since moved on. During the test drive I pointed out a couple odd issues that the salesman quickly dismissed and said was normal for that model. He said if any issues came up after the purchase, the dealership is a family business, and they always take care of the customer. The next day a handful of issues popped up, so we brought it back to have them look at it. They had the vehicle nearly a week, gave the vehicle back to us, and some of the problems were still there. I had to bring the vehicle back multiple times, and only had the vehicle in my possession for a couple days out of 6 weeks, only to get the vehicle a final time and it had completely different issues and they were refusing to take care of it. After arguing with the manager for over an hour I left mad. Needless to say, I will NEVER even step foot on their property again, and the thousands of people I deal with in the area will know my story. West Chevrolet is 10 minutes away from them and provide excellent service. They are willing to make appointments so you’re not without your vehicle for weeks. More

My wife went to the dealership looking to buy a new car. There is a current deal going on during the pandemic and they were absolutely horrible. Told her they could get the payment where we wanted it, but never mentioned that it included the high interest which was supposed to be zero percent due to the deal. The manager harassed her because she told them she was waiting on her husband and he made snarky comments about not being able to make a decision on her own. Deceitful and unscrupulous Prior to 2018 I had not experienced problems with this service department. Earlier this year, when in for an oil change, a technician approached me in Prior to 2018 I had not experienced problems with this service department. Earlier this year, when in for an oil change, a technician approached me in the waiting area holding a dirty air filter and cabin filter which he reported were from my vehicle. I declined to have them replaced. Minutes later, my car was "ready". In is necessary to remove the contents of the glove box as well as the door in order to access the cabin filter. Nothing was disturbed in my glove box and sufficient time had not passed for a technician to replace these filters causing me to believe that the filters did NOT come from my vehicle and this action was a ploy to increase services and charges to my bill. Yesterday, I arrived at my scheduled appointment time for another oil change. The default service on the order included tire rotation ($49.95). I stated that I only wanted an oil change (no tire rotation) which was advertised on the board at $42.95. One and a half hours later, I saw that my vehicle was parked outside. I mentioned that normally, a technician comes to the waiting areas to notify the customer when the vehicle is ready. She said that she had called my name in the waiting area and also on the overhead speaker. I had been wearing a headset during my wait to watch videos. These were clearly visible. I asked her how long ago she had called my name and she replied "15 minutes ago". She gave me the bill which exceeded $51.00. Upon review I noticed that I had been charged a separate fee for the oil filter. I asked for an explantation from the service technician who had checked me in but did not find his answer to satisfactorily explain the discrepancy between the posted price and my bill. I thanked him and stated that I "would not be returning". At that point he quickly offered to remove the charge and a credit was issued. Attached to my bill was a "Multi-point Inspection" which identified no problems with my battery or coolant. I was aware that my 2012 vehicle had the original battery and had observed a volcanic mound of corrosion around the terminal. The "inspection report" indicated the battery was fine. The report also indicated no problems with coolant, which upon inspection was empty. To summarize the reasons I will not return and do not recommend this service department: - deceitful practice of showing dirty filters that did not come from customer's car - misrepresentation of charges - inaccuracies in "inspection report" - inefficient service (1.25 hours for oil change) - lack of reasonable effort to notify customer that vehicle was ready More
