The cam phasers were replaced on my truck prior to purchase without replacing the water pump, timing chain or timing chain tensioners. After a year and a half the cam phasers failed. Luckily it was st purchase without replacing the water pump, timing chain or timing chain tensioners. After a year and a half the cam phasers failed. Luckily it was still under warranty. The cam phasers were replaced under warranty with recommendation of replacing the timing chain and tensioners at a cost to me, and again with the same water pump put back onto my F150. When I got my F150 back, the snorkel from the turbo chargers to the inner cooler fell off, the cooling fans would run nonstop because the cooling system was not blood properly and there was a fuel leak. After having to return to the dealership to get these problems fixed, the water pump that had been put back on my truck two different times finally failed. I had it towed back to the dealership thinking it may have been something caused from the previous work. Turns out it was the water pump that they had off and put back on my truck two separate times. Was going to have it towed to a trusted repair shop, but there was a $200 diagnostic fee that they eventually waived. At the new repair shop upon inspection they found a coolant inlet housing that had been broken and glued back together And put onto my truck. Ultimately, the dealership sent a new part and it was repaired. ultimately the service I received was not high-quality. Had to return multiple times repairs were done Shawty. The service department was difficult to get a hold of and was excessively overpriced. More
