My concern is around integrity and honesty and the dealings I have had with Beechmont Subaru have made me seriously consider going away from Subaru altogether. Some quick facts... We have been shoppi dealings I have had with Beechmont Subaru have made me seriously consider going away from Subaru altogether. Some quick facts... We have been shopping for an Outback and thus went to visit the Beechmont Subaru dealership (outside of Cincinnati). Frankly we had a positive experience with our salesperson (Jack Post) and thought we were on track to get a deal done. Unfortunately the dealership did not have the specific Outback color and options but they said they could get it for us which was completely fine. Then over the course of the next week, Philishia Crum and and Bill Weslen (not sure if that is the right spelling) contacted me multiple times telling me they had found a few different vehicles and were in the process of getting one sent out to their dealership. All I needed to do was to put a $500 deposit down. So I put $500 on my credit card. They called me on Tues, Wed, Thurs. On Thursday they told me the car would be there on Friday and so since I travel extensively, I bought a plane ticket to come back to Cincinnati to be sure I would be able to come into the dealership on Friday. NOTE... I am specifically pointing out that THEY called me multiple times, telling me it would be there AND, I put a $500 deposit down to ensure it got there on Friday However, on Friday, they called me and said, "well, we were no longer going to be able to get us the car." WHAT? Why are you telling me now? What happened to it coming in? Why did I put the deposit down? Why did I pay to fly in specifically to get it? Needless to say I am not happy. Complete dishonesty. Then on Saturday I called them and they asked if instead I would be interested in a different car. xxx!! Jack Post was the one I spoke to and I told him I am no longer interested in working with their dealership and I want my $500 deposit back. I know you have no reason to believe me over them... but then again, why would I put $500 deposit down and why would I buy a plane ticket? I still don't have my $500 back... but I am hopeful it will not be an issue. Frankly, I spent a lot of time taking their calls, spending money for down payments and even flying into Cincinnati to get the car... I don't want anything except for my deposit back. But I want you to know that these two are ruining Subaru reputation for an honest company. Not sure if we will buy an Outback from another dealership or not. Thanks for listening. More
We bought a new 2012 Imprezza and we are very happy with it. We plan to buy another one in a few months. It is a great car. The dealer gave us a great trade-in on our 2008 Honda Element. We will be glad to it. We plan to buy another one in a few months. It is a great car. The dealer gave us a great trade-in on our 2008 Honda Element. We will be glad to do business with them again and we have already recommended them to our family members who are looking for new cars. The great thing about subaru's is getting the free oil changes for as long as you own the car. More
Spoke with Salesmen Bryan Meier about used Buick. Told him that we would be driving two hours and for him to give us a good opinion about the car. He said, good car very clean and it would not be a waist him that we would be driving two hours and for him to give us a good opinion about the car. He said, good car very clean and it would not be a waist of time to come check it out. Well my wife and I took time out of our Saturday to go test drive the car. Needless to say we Never drove the car because first it was very dirty and the condition wasn't what Bryan had decribed to me on the phone. Yes, I could go on and on about the car but I think you get our point. So we left and found another one 30 more minutes away at Mid- Towne Auto Center. Now this family own business knows how to take care of your needs. We highly recomend them if you looking locally or out of state! Thanks Mid-Towne Louisville Ky More
I would STRONGLY recommend taking your business elsewhere. Sales manager, Bob Merry is extremely dishonest. If you decide to purchase a car from him, make him put what he says in writing because he elsewhere. Sales manager, Bob Merry is extremely dishonest. If you decide to purchase a car from him, make him put what he says in writing because he will promise you things all day and then deny, deny, deny. What seemed like an ok deal at the time, turned out being a disaster. I encourage you to google his name (I wish I had prior to making my purchase) - you will find MANY reviews stating the same thing about Bob from his previous positions at Beechmont Saturn, Beechmont Mitsubishi, and now Beechmont Subaru. Learn from my mistake, do yourself a favor, buy somewhere else. More
I had a great experience at Beechmont Subaru. Jeffery Bevis was awesome. He helped me pick out a car within my budget and worked hard to get me in it. I fell in love with the car after I test drove it. I Bevis was awesome. He helped me pick out a car within my budget and worked hard to get me in it. I fell in love with the car after I test drove it. I told him that I had been in the market to buy a Subaru for years and he did his best to work with me, and let me know what steps were being done in order to help me achieve my goal of getting a new car. I felt that he was very honest and straightforward in letting me know what I could afford and what my realistic payments would be. I never expected to be going home in my brand new 2012 Subaru Legacy. I would highly recommend Beechmont Subaru to anyone looking for a comfortable and great team when buying a new car:) More
My husband and I went a few weekends ago to look at a used legacy, having never owned a subaru before. Now we both trade cars a lot (as in about every 2 to 3 years, so between the 2 of us, we are car sh used legacy, having never owned a subaru before. Now we both trade cars a lot (as in about every 2 to 3 years, so between the 2 of us, we are car shopping ever year to every year and a half) and have delt with probably 6 or 7 different dealerships. This by far was one of the easiest transactions we have ever made, and some of the friendliest people we have ever delt with. There were a few minor things wrong with the car, which as soon as we brought it to their attention, was taken care of. A few parts had to be ordered but jeremiah was amazing with keeping in contact with me and keeping me updated on the status of the ordered parts. I am very pleased and will definatly be doing business with them again. More
BEWARE!! These people sold me a $25,000 car and when I got home I looked in the trunk and there was no spare tire or tool kit. Couldn't get the tires off to change them without the tool kit. Called them b got home I looked in the trunk and there was no spare tire or tool kit. Couldn't get the tires off to change them without the tool kit. Called them back and they told me I bought the car as-is and that they knew there was no spare tire. I asked them why it wasn't disclosed and they had no response other than to tell me they would not provide one and to go find one from a junk yard somewhere. I understand used car dealers aren't the most honest people but I can't believe a reputable one would sell anyone a car that does not have a spare tire or at least make that fact known before the purchase. BUY FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!! More
When I decided to move and sell my car, to my surprise the car had an accident. Don't roll your eyes and tell me that I should of asked for a carfax. In California it's LAW to fully disclose a customer on the car had an accident. Don't roll your eyes and tell me that I should of asked for a carfax. In California it's LAW to fully disclose a customer on a used car's history, silly me for assuming that the same ETHICAL business practices would be applied in all states. Complete crap. While I blame the law more than I do this company, I still think it's fair of me to give them a poor rating. They knew what they we're doing and should be held accountable for the 3,000 dollars they ripped off of me. How do you sleep at night selling people cars worth 1/3 of the price you put on it and treat me like I'm getting a special deal. Car sales people have a bad rep for a good reason. Oh and the Bengals suck, Mr. Biggest Fan, they always will. More
So far I have a good experience with this dealership. I get my VW's oil changed there regularly. With my type of engine "turbo" it is common for it to go through oil faster than non-turbo engines. With a quick phone call I can go right in and they will top it off on synthetic oil for no charge. Steve in service is great but the other older grey haired gentleman is not very nice and makes it seem like you are bothering him most of the time while doing his best not to look at you. This guy hates life and needs to find another job away from the public. Keep up the good work Steve....as for the other guy...well...go to a higher end dealership, they probably appreciate your type of "customer service". Note to people visiting this service department...just ask for Steve. More
