All the good things you read about Edison are true. He's a very polite and understanding person, and I would be more than happy to return for future business and recommend friends/family. Let me start by saying I liken buying a car at a dealership to going to the dentist or having major surgery. I was looking for a specific make and model car to replace the one that had been totaled dealership to going to the dentist or having major surgery. I was looking for a specific make and model car to replace the one that had been totaled in an accident. I saw one on FB marketplace. I sent a message and Michelle from Bellingham Ford responded. We messaged back and forth to discuss price, car condition, and how we plans to pay for the car. We made an appointment for 12:30pm on Wednesday 2/15. I explained to Michelle we were waiting on the funds from our insurance company and a confirmation from our credit union so we could finance the balance. Michelle met us as we drove up. We looked the car over and then took it for a test drive Michelle accompanied us on the test drive. Once we returned to the dealership we went inside to fill out the initial Paperwork . That went smoothly and took very little time. Michelle was both professional and friendly. We spoke of many things as we completed the paperwork. Once we were finished Michelle said she was going to send us over to finance. After a short wait we were lead down stairs to the finance office. Shortly after we sat down the financial person (I don’t remember his name) started to try and sell us a protection package for our car that was going to be around 1/4 of the price of the car. After listening for a bit I politely told him we were not interested. He said he was just doing his job and kept trying to convince me what a great deal this was. I finally got through to him we were not interested and were not going to purchase any extra warranty. The seemed to be some communication issue because he was unaware that we planned to finance a portion of the car. This seemed to fluster him somewhat but he got on the phone with our credit union and worked out the details I was told that the dealership provided a 6000mile/6month warranty. I should have asked more questions. I assumed that meant the dealership had faith in their product and would stand behind it. Turns it it was a 50/50 warranty. If anything went wrong with the car I would have to drive or tow it 2 hours back to the dealer and pay for half the repairs. After we finished with financial my wife and I moved our belongings from our rental car to our new (to us)car. Michelle arranged for the rental car company to pick up our rental so we didn’t need to do it. We left made a couple of stops and shortly after dark the car would not start. We called AAA and he successfully jumped the car and got it running. He tested the battery and said it didn’t fail the test but suggested we drive for 30-45 min to build up a charge. We drove up to the Canadian border and back and have no issues since. I am aware when a car sits for a while the battery can loose charge. It seems to me the dealership should have made sure it was fully charged before we picked the car up. Michelle was a joy to deal with and I would buy another car from her. I would recommend Bellingham Ford to my friends with some warnings about what to watch for. More

Bought a recently traded in truck. Test drove it. It was all good except the alignment was off and the check engine light was on. Ok was assured the engine light was only on bc a batte Test drove it. It was all good except the alignment was off and the check engine light was on. Ok was assured the engine light was only on bc a battery was replaced. Signed agreement to purchase contingent on dealership fixing check engine light. Once alignment was fixed and engine light was no longer on I picked up the truck. Within 2 weeks the check engine light and the Electric Throttle Control (ECT) would display with increased frequency. Currently the check engine light is on 75% of the time and the. ECT is on 50% of the time. I am not talking about when starting the truck, I mean when driving. In addition, the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) regularly displays "Oil change required" and " Low washer fluid". The truck came with a service sticker on the windshield saying the next oil change is due by 04/28/23 or at 117,304 miles. Either to he stick is worth or the EVIC is wrong. I would like to have this fixed but this a a work vehicle, & every day without it cost me money and hours for my employees. I spoke with previous owner, Wayne Crenshaw who confessed the only reason he got rid of this truck is because of the EVIC constantly displaying alerts "See dealer now" paired with an audible tone. He spent $1,200 trying to have it fixed without success. He said when he traded it in he it was luckily one of the times the EVIC was was silent. And that the check engine light was on. It is a beautiful truck but has been very disappointing disheartening every time the warnings come on her been. I've been driving with ear buds so I don't hear the beeps. I would gladly buy a vehicle from the salesman, Eddie again if it were at a different dealership. After this experience I've heard several examples of similar disappointing experiences with this dealership from others. More
