I strongly advise anyone considering Benji Auto Sales to proceed with caution. My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. After finalizing a vehicle purchase contract on October 2, 2024, and meeting all requirements, including my down payment and documentation, the dealership engaged in unethical practices that disrupted the entire process. First, they delivered the car with pre-existing issues that required immediate repairs. Tesla’s repair alerts, which were active prior to delivery, prove the dealership knew about these problems beforehand. Despite notifying the salesperson, Steven Jean, and the manager, David Rodriguez, of these issues both before and after delivery, no effort was made to address them. Second, they delayed paying off my trade-in vehicle, valued at $4,800, causing unnecessary financial stress. Third, they unilaterally canceled my finalized contract by issuing a payoff to the lienholder without my knowledge or consent. They falsely claimed the reason for the payoff was due to a “recall” on the vehicle—a claim I’ve disproven with a CarFax report. Finally, I had to file complaints with regulatory agencies due to these deceptive practices, and it seems their cancellation of the contract was retaliatory. I have undeniable proof, including correspondence with the dealership, invoices, and reports, showing their negligence and dishonesty. I’m now seeking legal assistance to resolve this matter. This place is a fraud. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STAR I WOULD. I was sold an EV Car that can only charge to 68 miles. Now they are going to report it on my credit as a charge off staing i did not make the 1st payment when I was told buy THEIR employee not to make payment as they was supposed to be going to trade the car in to the bank as soon as a new replacement was found. All lies. They are unresponsive through all levels of service here, from lead person to sales to the manager to the owner. They do not value customer service. I will make it my lifes mission to bring awareness to the poor business practices of this place. More

An error was made in accounting and I overpaid by $70 , I was told not to worry that it would be sent to me by check . I recently applied On TrueCar and this Dealership came up with the genesis I was interested in. I was contacted by a guy named Michael. Michael mentioned that according to true car with all my information wi with the genesis I was interested in. I was contacted by a guy named Michael. Michael mentioned that according to true car with all my information with my credit score being at 625 on Equifax, that my down payment would only be $2140 out of the $2500 that I was willing to put down. He mentioned that they were ok with that amount. He then asked me if I wanted to proceed and I told him yes. He transferred me to a different guy named Jason, who was the one to work with me on filling out the application. I explained many times that I cannot have my Experian or Trans Union pulled because I have a few disputes on there and they need to be removed because the lender would not like to see those. I had mentioned prior to all of this that Equifax was the only bureau that I was willing to have them pull. They said it was OK, so it was pulled. He came back to me and said everything was looking good. He mentioned that my other bureaus were locked, and I explained to him that I could not have those pulled once again. It’s like I was repeating myself. He then said he was waiting for the lender that only pulls Equifax to get back so I had to wait over the weekend because it was a holiday. I reached out on an update to find out that I was denied from the lender that uses Equifax, which I find extremely odd because my credit is fine with Equifax. He mentioned that because I didn’t unlock the other two in which again I repeat myself once again I told him the lenders were not gonna like what was on there so what would be the difference? What I am upset about was that I was dragged all this way, because I was told something different, so I was pretty much lied to and given hopes to and this company claims to help people because on their website it says “ Minimal requirements”, “ 99% approval rate”, “ nationwide approvals, regardless of your current situation” Which was just a bunch of bull. I should’ve seen reviews before even applying with them because they have bad reviews. Not only do I have to remove this hard inquiry, but I wasn’t even contacted to help me get into maybe a different car. There’s a lot of false advertising and they don’t really care about any customers. I would stay away from this company because it was a waste of my time. More

I bought my car in December and is now Feb. i have not received my tags bc they titled it wrong. I was promised warranty and i did not get one. This company scams people in order to get them to their sales events. They sent mail stating I won a 75" smart TV and where to get it and when.
