Visited Bennett Toyota this week as our 2018 Camry XSE's lease was coming up (April 2021) and the car we were looking for (online) was available at this dealership. Alex Lascala was our salesperson and he was very eager to get to know us and make sure we were getting the car (and options) that we wanted at a price we could afford; since we are a retired couple, this was important to us. Needless to say, we leased our new 2021 Camry XSE V6 (vroom, vroom!) from Bennett Toyota and picked her up yesterday! Something to note - I have been leasing from Krause Toyota, since 2009 (4 cars!), and although I have nothing bad to say about Krause, this dealership impressed us - from salesperson/sales manager, to service department, to Mike in Finance - not to mention it was closer to home! We didn't feel rushed at all; in fact, all paperwork was prepared and ready for us to sign - easy, peasy! More

Beware!! Bad Business Practices at Bennett Toyota!.I Beware!! Bad Business Practices at Bennett Toyota!. I called and was told the used car I was interested in was available and the price was $8,000. I Beware!! Bad Business Practices at Bennett Toyota!. I called and was told the used car I was interested in was available and the price was $8,000. I called before I came the next day (as instructed) to make sure it was still available. I was told it was still available and to come test drive it. After driving 1 hour plus, I arrive to find the car is not ready for sale yet (it was in the garage getting fixed and ready for market), and the price is now $2,000 higher!, as they increased it to $10,000. Per multiple valuation websites such Kelly Blue Book and other, the fair market range for a dealer transaction for this used car and mileage should be $4,500 to $7,000. I made a reasonable offer within this range, and was told by the sales person that he would present the offer to the sales manager and get back to me. He took my number and email address. I never heard back, and my emails and phone calls were also ignored for the next week. When I finally got a response from them it was lame....and my offer was never even presented to the sales manager. They lied about availability and price, and then basically ignored me for a week.
