Exactly what I was looking for in a dealer I had thoroughly researched my recent car purchase, and had decided to purchase a 2015 Genesis Tech Package AWD. When I contacted 8 Hyundai dealers in I had thoroughly researched my recent car purchase, and had decided to purchase a 2015 Genesis Tech Package AWD. When I contacted 8 Hyundai dealers in my vicinity, I let them know how I would be purchasing my new vehicle. Benson Hyundai of Spartanburg was one of only a few dealers who respected my wishes. I told all the dealers that I would not be haggling back and forth among them in an effort to get the best possible price. I told them that if they wanted my business, they should quote me the lowest price that they would be willing to sell me the vehicle and I would go to whomever offered me the best price. Several other dealers tried to convince me to do business "their way". They offered me a price that was clearly not their "best price". When I told them I had been offered a price that was thousands less, they replied by stating," Tell us the price, and we'll beat it." I responded by telling them that this response only confirmed the fact that they had refused to honor my request. If they couldn't respect my right to purchase the car in the manner I chose, I didn't trust them to be truthful with me about anything. The most important thing to me was the integrity of the dealership, more than the price of the vehicle. At Benson, they never once asked me what any other dear had offered me, and I knew from the price I was quoted that they had truly offered me their "best price". I never asked them to lower that quote by one dollar. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and sincere as well as being forthright about all issues involved with the purchase. From the salesman to the sales manager to the manager of the dealership, each person showed me without question that they were interested in helping me in every way possible to have the best experience possible in my purchase, rather than just trying to sell me a car. More
