Sam was very relaxed and listened to what it was I was looking for without trying to sell me on upgrades or "must haves" that weren't in my budget. Earl was solid in explaining the warranty info, and again, wasn't trying to push me towards something I didn't really need. I waited fill out this survey as I had to have my windows tinted and I wanted to make sure getting the service done was equally stress free. I've been burned before so I was cautious this time. Glad to say James was super helpful as well. More

Shelly started us off with an immediate and honest description of the pricing for the vehicle we wanted. Julian was very personable and truly a product specialist, pointing out the features of the car and answering all of our questions. He was such a refreshing change from other sales people. His sense of humor helped make the process enjoyable - something that I had thought was impossible. John helped us work out the numbers, and with an assist from Earl, who came in on his day off to speed things up on a busy day, we left with the vehicle we wanted at the price we expected. I would not recommend going through this dealership I would not recommend attempting to be quoted a price and purchase a new vehicle at Berge Mazda. I attempted to purchase a new Mazda 2019, Hatchback o I would not recommend attempting to be quoted a price and purchase a new vehicle at Berge Mazda. I attempted to purchase a new Mazda 2019, Hatchback over the past week and communicated with Jim Maijala exclusively. I was originally quoted an excellent price from Jim and decided it was good enough to move forward. I asked him to send me a mock-up of the "out the door" cost, which he did promptly. In this new "out the door" cost Jim calculated the final pricing including dealers fees and the desert package. While this is expected, the original quote had these fees in the final price so I simply asked him to remove them since we were effectively going to be charged twice for them. Jim them proceeded to get defensive and ignore my emails. Laugh at my wife over the phone, and proceed to attempt to gaslight us saying that the original quote was for a completely different car, which is not true since both the original and new quote have the same VIN attached. After speaking to Jim on the phone we simply put it out there that we weren't going to be double charged for these fees and were expecting them to be taken out. Jim said he was unable to do that so we ended the phone conversation. A couple minutes later Jim sends out an additional email stating again that my wife and I were in the wrong and that the original quote was for a different car as explained above. It is disgusting that his ego is so large that he can't simply admit his mistake and let us know that he can't bring the price of the car any lower. This error can be traced through the quotes which I sent to him in a detailed email explaining the confusion, which he ignored. So again, just to reiterate. Avoid working with this man when shopping for a new car at the dealership. I would even go as far to say avoid using this dealership and look at a different Mazda dealership within the valley as it says something about the dealership as a whole that they would employ a man like this. More
