⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Experience I had a very disappointing experience with Bergey’s Lincoln while trying to purchase a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado RST. I spent considerable time communicating wi disappointing experience with Bergey’s Lincoln while trying to purchase a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado RST. I spent considerable time communicating with the salesperson about this specific truck. They sent me a complete pricing worksheet, discussed the out-the-door numbers with me, offered an optional protection package, and continued negotiating the purchase price with me. I made it very clear that I was serious and prepared to purchase the vehicle if we could finalize the numbers. We went back and forth over the deal, including my request for a modest price adjustment. I was told they were a no-haggle dealership and that the truck was already priced below market. Everything about the communication led me to believe the truck was available and that we were actively working toward completing the purchase. Then the next day I received a phone call telling me the truck had already been sold. Even more frustrating, I was essentially told that they did not understand why the salesperson had been trying to sell the vehicle to me if it was already sold. That is completely unacceptable communication within a dealership. If a vehicle has been sold, a customer should be told immediately. They should not be sent pricing worksheets and spend their time negotiating a transaction for a vehicle that is no longer available. I understand that vehicles sell quickly and that another customer can purchase a vehicle before a deal is finalized. That isn't my complaint. My complaint is that the dealership continued working numbers with me and presenting the truck as available, only for me to later be told that it had already been sold and that the person I was dealing with apparently should not have been trying to sell it to me. Thankfully, I had not traveled all the way to Pennsylvania or put money into the transaction before finding out. The entire situation left me with very little confidence in the dealership's communication and inventory management. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a vehicle here confirm with management that the vehicle is physically available and unsold before spending time negotiating, traveling to the dealership, or putting down any money. More
