When I went back, instead of equivocating, blaming the stars and the moon etc, my service advisor took full responsibility. Instead of booking me in for yet another trip in several days, my service advisor got the work done within 30 minutes. Everyone makes mistakes and while we wish they did not make mistakes, sometimes it comes down to how a service organization recovers from those mistakes.
